      Date of transaction 13th march 2024. The amount of money paid to the business is $13,778.19.. the business is committed to providing me with 10 pieces of laptops but they have not tried to fulfill the order and stopped responding to my complaints. Order number *********

      We have some concerns about the transaction because the customer sent a personal check for payment. We were waiting for the funds to clear and have also been consulting with our bank. We are currently working with the customer to either refund the funds or fulfill the order. Please give us some time to come to an amicable resolution. Thank you.

      On March 13th, 2024, they received a check and on the following day, March 14th, the exact amount was debited from my account. However, I am confused as to why the bank is unable to confirm the deposit, given that they have already deposited the check. I have provided them with an account for a refund or for them to mail me a check for the same amount. This is the exact amount $13,778.19

      I am confused as to why the business would ask me to cancel or stop a check that they deposited and cleared over a month ago. They used the excuse that they don't accept personal checks of such large amounts, but they knew this before they deposited the check. Furthermore, they did not communicate to me which types of checks they accept, so I had no way of knowing. By accepting and depositing my check, and having it clear, they effectively agreed to the terms of our contract. Unfortunately, my bank is unable to cancel the check because it was deposited too long ago. I have provided the business with an account to issue the refund or send a check back to my address, but they have refused to do so, claiming they cannot locate my deposited check

      We are fully committed to processing a refund to the customer, but at the same time we are taking an abundance of caution in case of fraudulent activity. While we understand enough time has passed for the check to clear, we were advised by our bank that there is a chance that the check issuing bank can issue a recall of funds at a future date. Given the large amount, we are taking precaution and asked the customer to request a stop payment or equivalent action from the check issuing bank to recall funds. Alternatively, we would be able to schedule a conference call with the customer and the check issuing bank to discuss this matter, after which we may feel comfortable issuing a refund to the customer via electronic funds transfer. Note we already proposed over the phone to the customer the idea to conference call the check issuing bank, but she has not reverted back to us yet. We can schedule a conference call with the customer and the check issuing bank if the customer would like.

      This company is a scam they told me they would refund me my entire amount they sold on Newegg. Now theyre claiming theyre not liable to follow the policy of the site they advertise on. Theyre scum check out their Reddit reviews ****** beware of hidevolution

      We deducted a restocking fee per our Newegg marketplace return policy. The return policy can be found below (click on "Return Policy" tab). Per our records, we did not discuss the return policy with the customer prior to the refund being processed, and we did not stray from our return policy.
