deceptive data interpretations to sell more CPAPs, better to have your PCP order the test. it's a business after all. Ask for your Data from your sleep study and do your research. They will diagnosis based upon an ODI of 3% which will result in a higher AHI than the standard 4%, which is more relevant and consistent. For example: my AHI at 3% was 10 (mild sleep apnea) which the doctor that evaluated my study said my heart was under a lot of stress at night, and prompted me to purchase the ***** However after further review my AHI at 4% was 3.9, which is normal, and more physiologically relevant.

Hi *******,Thank you for your review and for raising an important point about sleep study scoring criteria.Lofta partners with independent, board-certified physician groups who follow the guidelines set by the ********************************** (****). Their recommendation is to use the 3% oxygen desaturation index (ODI) for hypopnea scoring, which is the preferred standard in most clinical settings. However, we understand that the 4% criteria is also used in some caseswhich is why we include both on your results report, so you and your healthcare provider can see the full picture. For further clarification, the **** published a statement on this topic that you can review here: AASM Clarifies Hypopnea Scoring Criteria We always encourage clients to review their data and consult with their primary care physician if they have any questions. Our goal is to provide accessible, medically sound diagnostics to help guide the right decisions around sleep health. Please feel free to reach out to our team if youd like to review your results further. All the best,The Lofta Team

My wife was worried as I seemed to stop breathing in my sleep and we went ahead and scheduled testing with this company. After receiving the results I was given a call by one of their representatives, *****. She was one of the most unpleasant people Ive ever spoken to. What annoyed me most is that my wife and I were seriously concerned about my potential condition and I couldnt seem to ask ***** any questions as she was extremely rude and unprofessional. I hope they make better choices in hiring more empathetic or atleast nicer people. What a horrible experience. Steer clear from this business.

Out of no where they are trying to charge me for my own medical record. Never even a problem for 4 years. Now all of a sudden they are refusing to send my compliance report unless I pay for it, They are acting like it costs them anything to send a freaking email, s**** this shady company. I am entitled to my own medical report, what world is it that they can just tack on a fee for no reason. it is MY Medical Report. No one use this company. S**** these people. Holding my own report hostage. I need it to get another machine! Sleeping without one literally takes years off of your life. These greedy ******. I hope they go out of business!

No offense to the people who left a 1-star rating, but had they done some prior research they could have avoided their issues.-You need to vet your own insurance to see if they will accept Lofta's prescription and cover the prescribed device(s) and also see if your insurance requires a "rent to own" period. This is not Lofta's responsibility. I've never even known a doctor's ****** to check such things; it has always been the patient's responsibility to contact insurance and see what is covered or not.-Lofta's own FAQs state that they only offer in-store credit for opened returns. As inconvenient as this may seem, it is actually pretty generous considering a lot of places do not accept returns on used medical equipment whatsoever. As for my own personal experience, the process was amazing. I was able to find a discount code and received the in-home test for about $150. It was free expedited shipping, so within a week I was able to receive the test, take the test and send off for the results. My results were processed within a day or so, and I spoke with a representative about my results the following day. In total, the entire process was less than 2 weeks. In all fairness, you can interpret your results yourself. The person you speak to on the phone about your results is not a doctor. They will help you understand things and pick out your equipment, but this is all stuff you can do yourself. Just make an effort to self-educate and do some homework; I had my cart put together before I even spoke with my representative, and they went ahead and applied a 20% discount to my cart with free 2-day shipping. Yes they recommend things like counseling services, etc for an additional charge but I did not once feel pressured into purchasing such things.Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I wish I had done it months if not years ago.

I suffered from insomnia for many years. I was so depressed and desperate. I forgot what a decent night's sleep felt like. I was ready to get up. I heard about Lofta and took the home sleep test. I had 25 sleep disturbances a night, which is over 200 in an 8-hour period. I ordered my sleep machine, and I slept like a baby the first night!I no longer struggle with sleep disorders and have good sleep each night. I am so grateful to Lofta, their products, sleep coaches, and customer service. I am surprised by the negative reviews. I cannot say enough good things about Lofta and their staff. I highly recommend them. Dr. *******************

My husband bought a cpap machine from Lofta. Three smart people tried to understand the directions and could not. Their return policy is that only an unopened and unused machine can be returned. How would someone know they weren't satisfied with the product if they haven't opened the box? Very shady company.
