  Emteks return policies are ridiculous and completely unattainable. They dont accept boxes that are open. How would you know if the product is correct without opening the box?Not only does the box need to be unopened, but then you have to pay for return shipping AND 25% restocking fee. So they can then resell it and make even more money? Its a ******* surprised someone hasnt sued them for making it impossible to return. We ordered a handle set for a door, and was sent the wrong handing. We went to return it only to be told we couldnt since we looked at it (opened the box). I contacted Emtek support myself thinking they could give me a solution to fix this issue. Either sending a replacement, offering a spare part I could pay for or an installation solution. No. I was told to handle it with the retailer. The retailer is telling me its emteks policies that they have to follow. Which is it? The option they thought was feasible was to buy an entire new set. And do what with the other? Trash it? Over $1K for a single handle set due to an insane return policy. The handle hasnt even been used!

  I would never buy from this company. The product is very costly and then it doesnt work. We spent thousands of dollars to have locks installed, 3 out of 6 do not work, its either the key that is mismatched the keypad that has a mechanical issue or some other nonsense. Then Emtek tells you to go back to the outlet where you bought the items and wait for a replacement. It costs $$$ to have this junk installed and now you are not going to help by just sending out a new lock with a return label for the old one??? Warning DO NOT buy from this company

  I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Emtek, a door hardware company that not only fails to deliver quality products but also lacks any semblance of customer service.To begin with, the quality of the door hardware I purchased from Emtek was far from satisfactory. The product seemed appealing and well-crafted initially, but it quickly became apparent that it lacked durability and longevity. The brass clips started chipping off within a few years of installation, and the mechanisms became sloppy and unreliable. It was disheartening to see such an expensive investment crumble before my eyes. Hoping for some support and resolution, I contacted Emtek's customer service.The representatives were unhelpful, unresponsive, and seemed disinterested in addressing my concerns. It felt as though my issue was simply brushed aside, and my attempts to seek assistance were unsuccessful.Furthermore,Emtek's claim of standing behind their products is nothing more than an empty promise. When I tried to avail myself of their supposed warranty, I was met with a maze of bureaucratic hurdles and an arduous claims process. Emtek continuously found excuses to deny my claim, leaving me out of pocket and with a defective product.The lack of quality control and accountability exhibited by Emtek is unacceptable, particularly considering the premium price tag attached to their products. It is clear that they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction, as evidenced by their shoddy craftsmanship and dismissive customer service.I strongly advise potential customers to steer clear of Emtek. Their products may appear appealing, but their poor quality and lack of support make them an unworthy investment. Save yourself the frustration, time, and money by exploring alternative door hardware companies that prioritize both quality and customer satisfaction. ********************** has undoubtedly lost a once-potential long-term customer due to their abysmal product quality and terrible customer service.
