  I had a terrible experience with ***** *****, a lender from Ladera Lending. He engaged in what I believe and learned is predatory lending, and he filled out documents on my behalf without my knowledge that what he was telling me to write on documents was illegal to do! He promised me that once my prepayment penalty was over, I could refinance my second mortgage within six months, but he failed to deliver on that promise.***** ***** also worked with a company called Equity Wave Lending in ************************, and I was never given direct access to the mortgage officer handling my loan. On top of that, I was double-billed for fees, and in a primary document it states a referral fee of which I also learned is illegal. He knew I was in distress financially and mentally distraught after the death of my dog during the loan qualifying period. ***** told me I needed to pay off my credit card debt, to improve my credit scores and then be able to qualify for the refinance 6 months later after the prepayment penalty was up which would have been June 2024. I did exactly what he told me, trusting his guidance, but I later discovered that he should never have told me to pay off my debt in the first place nor promised the ability to refinance in June. He completely failed me on refinancing the ridiculous high interest rate 2nd home mortgage loan he put me in. I feel deceived, manipulated, and completely let down. He has put me in a worse financial situation now. ***** ***** lied to me, and it became clear that he never intended to follow through on his promises. Hes a *****, and I strongly advise anyone to stay away from doing business with him. His manager, **** ******** at Ladera is equally at fault for allowing this kind of behavior to continue.

Very happy with the outcome and everyone is easy to reach. ******************************* explained the best possible outcome for my brother and I. Very pleased and happy with the customer service.

  I had a young man that was a good salesman but was to anxious to get a loan for us and I appreciate it but the lack of knowledge on his part cost me ****** dollars even tho was a mistake they made refuses to credit my ****** dollars back I would recommend to people to deal with a company more established and go with a experienced company more experienced. My frustration was being ignored when they realized they messed up and had a Manager call me very unprofessional way this was handled very disappointing !
