    I filed a claim for my husband, sent the claim several times via email and fax. The company is non-responsive. Ive called 14 times, spent so much time trying to reach the claims **** ending up frustrated with them disconnecting the call before I can speak to anyone. I have an authorization number, was told in May he can see an out of network provider because he had an emergency and needed a root canal removed that was causing seizures. We paid thousands out of pocket after being reassured that we would be reimbursed for the office visit and treatment. We are approaching September and still no response and no reimbursement.

    California Dental Network is available through covered California. They made me sign up for autopay against my will and make it impossible to cancel. I did through covered California and I called them and they are very difficult to reach. No online portal, email etc. Only phone and fax. Who has a fax machine nowadays? They also do not pick up their phones. The one time they did, they told me they would remove auto pay. They continue to illegally charge me and I several disputes of these charges with my credit card company. I cannot reach them and need to file more disputes. They are also lying and trying to deny that they are the company that I am complaining about. I uploaded my card to confirm this complaint.

    Covered California automatically signed me up for this horrible Dental Insurance provider. My previous insurer no longer offered plans through CoveredCA so I was switched automatically. This new provider does not have an online portal, does not have an email address, does not have any way of contacting them other than a phone number that is ALWAYS busy with no option to stay on hold.I made my first payment directly through CoveredCA's website and it was supposed to be an automatic withdrawal each month. I didn't receive any confirmations or emails from CDN about my plan or coverage. I didn't receive any communication for the first two months. Then I received a booklet of "payment coupons" in the mail. They want me to physically mail them a check every month. Why didn't my automatic payments continue? I don't have physical checks. Who does? The other option is money order. So they want customers to spend money on money orders and stamps every single month? For snail mail? Why was I able to pay for my first month online through CoveredCA but now I can't pay online or with a credit card? Who knows, maybe I can use a credit card but I can't get anyone on the phone so how am I supposed to set that up?On top of that, their website is full of lies. I contacted a couple dentists in January and none of them are accepting new patients who use this insurance. I don't have an insurance card anyway because they never sent one so how would I even go to a dentist?I am now over **************************************************** payments and didn't receive the payment coupons until after the 30 day **** so my coverage was terminated. I'm okay with it being terminated. I never wanted it in the first place. But I haven't received any communication about termination, late payments, etc. I have never had so little communication from an insurance provider.
