I bought two tickets August 2024 for a HEAT Cullinary cooking class in ************* **. I was then contacted via email by employee ****** ******** from HEAT Cullinary. In her email Miss Bonzangni advised that the business was closing and a refund would not be issued. I then tried contacting Miss ******** many times via phone with no response. I finally received a response on 28 Nov 24 after I sent an email stating I was going to sue if they did not issue a refund. I received a response email stating that I "could submit a small claims if I want to". ***** ****** the owner of ************** is a fraud and a scam artist.

Heat Culinary sent out an email October 16th stating they were closing their cooking school effective immediately and canceling all future classes. They made no intention to refund all outstanding classes. They have ignored multiple inquiries only replying once that they are in shock and don't know what to do. I appreciate their shock but I am out 12 classes.

    Business Response

    Date: 11/03/2024

This customer was responded to and the request was made that she file a dispute with her credit card company or bank to quickly receive a refund. My property management did not extend my lease after 7 years, as they have chosen to replace my small business with a ******* store. My processor has halted refunds because of the amount of requests they are receiving, so as my lawyer advised, I am notifying our appreciated customers to file a dispute with their card to push it through faster than my processor is handling.

I recieved notification that ***** submitted a dispute yesterday as I asked suggested she do and funds have been pulled from my bank account and presumably deposited by her bank/credit card as an expedient refund. We are ******* as a business to find a new location. This is an angry customer who has been refunded and is simply reacting against us despite my replies.

    Customer Answer

i sent four emails with no response. Only when I let you know that I was filing a better business bureau complaint and then and only then did you respond. I am not an angry customer. I am a customer who was ignored. I wanted to have a simple refund for the classes not to file a complaint with the credit companies. Since I filed this complaint, and you then responded to my email. Yes, I filed a dispute with my credit card company, which will eventually refund me. Only one order and credit card has been processed.
