    Do not fall for this company! Back in December 2021, I was trying to hook up my new Canon printer and got transferred to Global Assistance when I received an error code. They told me I had malware and viruses on my computer and that it must be corrected immediately. I thought they were associated with Canon, so I did what they wanted me to do.They charged me $279.98 for their service. I thought everything was fine after that.Forward to today, 8/9/22, I was having some browser issues on my computer so I called the same number from Global Assistance tech support. ***** was helping me remotely and telling me that I have over ***** trojans and warnings on my computer. Was going to charge me $379.99 for 3 years service, or $599 for 5 years. or over $1,000 for unlimited. I told ***** that I have already paid back in December for 6 years repair support. He said that was for Windows 10, I now have Windows 11, and I will need to pay more money. I told him I do not feel comfortable with paying more money. I then said let me talk to my husband. I called back and told him no and to sign off of my computer. He almost got more money from me. I have changed my passwords on my banking and other sign ons. I would like a refund of my $279.98 if possible. I have the receipt.
