      I changed our old Subzero Fridge last June 1st with Pacific Sale (owned by BestBuy). They used Costa Lake Installation fot the replacement of my old fridge and the installation of the new one. The installation required to enter in a gated community with a fly of 14 stairs. Although we communicated this information to the sales Person, It seems that he did not passed it completely. He asked me to pay $425 upfront for the replacment and installation. When I discussed with ***** at Costa Lake, she discovered that we had these stairs and she said that they will require a second team of 2 people because of the size and weight of the appliance, which I can understand. What I found outrageously greedy is that she asked us an ADDITIONAL $800 to perform the job, making it a total cost over $1,200. The additional team worked less than 1 hour to help the main team of 2 persons move the old unit out and the new unit in the gated community, and then They left. They came with the same truck as the main team but did not load the old unit on their truck. ***** did not accept the slightest discount on the price. Basically a unit of 2 workers, during 1 hour was charged $800, making the price of the installation 3 times the original price. Greedy unflexible companies like that will kill their own business and the business of their partner companies and reflect very poorly on their image.
