      I had flooring install in my rental house at *********************************** Menifee **********. This is laminate flooring and its lifting in areas I called talked to JD and they were supposed to get back to me. When they finally came out and said it was a bad install and would only do the master bath which they did. The problem is down the hall you catch your foot on the lifted planks they said it was out of warranty but it took them months to get out there even the technician that replaced the master bathroom from there company said it was a bad install.

      The original repair on this home was completed in September 2022. The client first called in to notify us of the planks lifting in his mater bathroom and hallway on 7/22/24. We have a 1 year workmanship warranty which expired on 9/29/23. Although it was past our 1 year warranty timeframe, as a courtesy we took care of the issue in the master bathroom. He had son install flooring in another bedroom which leads into the hallway, causing those planks to shift. We will not be going back to this home to perform anymore repairs as it is past our  warranty timeframe.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      This is not true from *** when ***** ******** came out to inspect he told us that it was a bad install and they would take care of it. After going back to his office things changed and they were only going to fix the floor in the master bathroom which is no where near the floor that my son ******* put down in a third bedroom. The flooring is lifting in all areas in the house and there blaming it on one bedroom that my son did.I have looked at my contract and it does not state one year on workmanship and also we called before one year and it took them that long to respond. Its kind of ironic that two people from their company said it was a bad install and they dont want to take care of it. The gentleman that took care of the master bathroom floor that had the problem no longer works there but ***** does and if he denies what he told us hes not telling the truth why would they do one small area if there was no problem with the rest of the house when ***** told us it was bad install. I do have my contract and phone & txt proof.

      So you would expect a company to treat and handle personal property of residence who live in the house where they have been hired. Under their watch, while they were doing a job there someone in their realm intentionally ruined my Pilates machine that i paid 3500$ for. When asked, would give no answer and definantly showed they did not care how they treat the most expensive thing in the house. It was not because it was left there. I made a clear statement that there had better not be any more damage to my machine and sure enough next time I went back it was covered in construction materials. Done on purpose because not one thing got the treatment that it did. it has wheels so easy to move around without issue. Idk if these people are in capable of doing their job or being trusted with others stuff. So when I said I don't want any more damage to my machine, for it to be damaged on separate occasions, and the only thing that got this treatment tells me this is targeted. It would be cheaper for them to replace the exact machine vs the steps I will be forced to take. I am getting the blame for their crappy behavior. Furthermore I was not allowed to know when our personal belongings were coming back down. They told me I would get the information on how to access our stuff but for over 100 days they failed to let me know. When the job was done we were not notified. I was denied access still, they refused to let me come get myself. I didn't even know the job was done last week but that is when I started demanding our stuff be returned- i was refused. I call this theft bc there was no consent and I have a child that needs routine and to keep us in the dark is complete bull*&^$.
      Not professional and I think there is fraud going on as well but ill leave that for someone else to decide. I want replacement of my machine. I wanted it to stay so I can say all the damage came from the house yet more damage was done to it out of spite. I wont stop until this is fixed.

      In response to ******* ******'s allegations, we maintain our position that there were no damages sustained to her personal property by JCS Restoration. Our company never touched or moved her machine. We are not liable or obligated to comply with her desired settlement to replace her personal property. Furthermore, we are not contracted to perform work by the complainant ******* ******, but rather the homeowner ******** ******. We have signed contracts and email communication indicating satisfaction of our work as per homeowner instructions. 

      When JCS Restoration initially performed the packout, ******* did not allow us to take the majority of her belongings despite the homeowner's request, to ensure the reconstruction was completed in an effective and efficient manner. It was communicated with ******* by the homeowner that if her items were left onsite, they would be her responsibility. I have attached a statement provided to us by the homeowner, ******** ******.

      JCS Restoration has been in constant communication with the homeowner, ******** ******, who asked us not to discuss the scope of repairs with ******* ******, therefore when ******* did call inquiring about the repairs and completion dates, we referred her back to the homeowner for updates.
