Bait and switch deceptive marketing practices. They should be prosecuted for breaking consumer lending and advertising laws. They are not a real lender and the rates they offer DO NOT EXIST.THEY WILL TRY TO GET YOU TO STOP PAYING YOUR CREDITORS AND PAY THEM INSTEAD. AND THEY WILL ASK YOU FOR YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND PERSONAL INFORMATION WHEN YOU CALL.

We do apologize if there was a misunderstanding, but the mail piece you received specifies you were pre-qualified for a personal loan to consolidate your outstanding balances. Your application was submitted to underwriting, and we were unable to approve you for a loan, which is based on many factors specific to your credit file. We are sorry for the misunderstanding and if you would like to go contact a manager to further discuss what happened please reach out to *******************************

Extremely rude representative named ****. They lie about loans and just push debt resolution. Cheesy pre canned lines. Very deceptive. They should be shutdown immediately.

Ladder Loan advertised pre-approval for a loan up to ******. Their advertisement said, "Choose up to ****** to borrow." I must not have been pre approved because ****, my representative did a "soft" check on my accounts and said that I could not get a loan but they would help with my debt management. It would take at least 48 months. I would be debt free in 37 months if I continued with my payments. I then asked for only ***** for my credit cards, but he said that I was not approved for a loan. (Why then did I get a pre-approved mailing directly to me to ask for any size loan up to $******. This is false advertisement and fraud since they are not allowing me a loan to control how I pay my debts, they are rather saying I must pay them and they will control my debts.

This company has deceptive practices. They start as a typical loan company and then if denied they heavily push a debt consolidation company but lie about what capabilities and refuse to admit risk. They're misleading about the process, would not disclose fees, and make large assumptions as to the power they have with creditors. This is the kind of practices that the Consumer Financial ***************** sued another company for just a few years ago. When straight asking the representative what would happen if a company refuses to settle, I was told that wouldn't happen and there's not risk. When asked why the documents sent to me said the 50% was assumed, she said they were not and that's what the settlement would be. I had to physically tell her where to look on the chart where the header says "Assumed" The **** should definitely keep their eye on this company.

A representative sent me a text message concerned about my inquiry back in February and its gone on too long and its impossible me to borrow my way out of debt. I told **** a text 145 - that I did not know what he was implying but his comments were rude. His text back was that it was not rude and best of luck to me. This person does not have the right to speak to me like this when he doesnt know all the facts. I havent even spoken to him on the phone. This is absolutely not ok and unacceptable.

Our agent attempted to reach out to **************** after she placed a second inquiry on our website. Our agent was not rude or disrespectful in texting **************** and was only trying to help her resolve her debt with a lower interest rate loan. **************** declined and her file was marked as not interested.

I have the text messages and it was rude. It was making assumptions of my personal finances and me personally. This rep has no idea who I am or what situation I am in. I dont need a credit to get out of debt. My husband and I make a great income and only want to save on interest rates. All he has to do was reach one to me to talk to me not make statements about me as a person making judgements or telling I cant borrow my way out of debt. It was utterly disrespectful and rude. Happy to post the text messages. Anyone would feel this way. This isnt helpful. And to say my file was closed and I declined. That simply js not true and I have been talking to a different rep who is very respectful and helpful. This person should not be working with people. Whoever answers above has NO idea what they are talking about. I stick with my original review. Terrible rep who represents this company.
