On 8/5/2024 **** came out for a quote to Clear my backyard of overgrown weeds, level my backyard / dirt removal and also lay Decomposed granite for a firm base instead of concrete. I really wanted the concrete so I changed my mind on the Decomposed Granite asked **** to clear the backyard of weeds/ dirt removal and bring a Bobcat tractor to dig 5 inches deep and make the backyard leveled for concrete down the road. This was a verbal agreement, he took measurements and we agreed on a price for the entire job which included dump fees. The next day we both signed the proposal that indicated weed Removal and we talked about job to be done. Bills crew showed up on 8/8/2024 with no tractor for the job. The ******* of the job was not informed about the dirt removal, then called for the tractor to be delivered. They continued to clear the backyard of weeds. **** verbally agreed he would be at the job that morning to instruct his guys but was nowhere to be found. Eventually the slow moving stand on skid steer tractor that was delivered and was not a Bobcat Like **** had promised to remove the excess dirt. The crew was able to move around the dirt to different places with the stand on skid steer but never loaded any dirt from my backyard into the trailer they showed up with. In total they loaded a few bags of weeds, and was at the job site all day. I paid the ******* and was impressed on how the backyard was clear of weeds, but also concerned that the dirt was not even removed from my backyard and my ***** level was not down 5 inches. The next day I called Bills office and he never returned phone calls, the weekend went by and today 8/12/24 we talked. The proposal said weed clearing but what was verbally agreed upon did not meet my expectations of this job and I though **** was a man of his word. I found Bills Landscaping thru Yelpwith 5 star reviews and for me that was not the case. **** has no intentions on making it right and possibly gaining more work
