    Complaint taken in dictation by BBB rep ** 05/05/25 Brought a clock to get repaired 6 months ago, which was repaired. I also brought a gas gauge that needed to be repaired, actually to be cannibalized, with a gauge that I had given him. This is the brand new gate. The man had lost the gas gauge, which was a brand new gas gauge. He seemed to misplaced it. I asked him if he wanted to pay for it. He said no.

    I took my clock in to be repaired 2-28-2021. I have been trying to get the clock back for the last 4 years. At first I was told that he could not find the clock, Finally he told me he found the clock. We agreed he would mail it to me. He comes up with every excuse (e.g. I can't find a box to mail it, I'm to busy, I have a funeral to go to, etc.) I would like my clock back but if that isn't possible I would like a check for the value of the clock. Any assistance you can give me in this manner would be greatly appreciated.

    After waiting almost two years for Classical Clock and Antique repair my ****** clock I went to pick it up and found that the shop owner had dropped and damaged my clock. According to *********************** repair shop the costs to repair that damage exceeds the value of the clock.

    On December 7, 2022 I brought in to *********************** of Classical Clocks and Antiques a copy of a letter with the invoice copy #****** along with a picture of my grandfather's clock face asking if it or my cuckoo clock has been found.On April 16, 2021 **** came by my house and picked up a cuckoo clock and the grandfather clock with 3 weights and pendulum. They were in working condition. I wanted them to be cleaned and oiled..I went to his shop in July to check on them and he hadn't worked on them yet. I returned in August, September, and October and he hadn't gotten to them. In November when I returned I brought with me a letter with a copy of the invoice stating I would be by on December 18, 2021 to pick up my clocks and bring them back in the spring. He had many medical excuses as to why he hadn't got to them. December 18 came and no clocks. I started documenting all my visits and 2022. I delivered another letter on March 11, 2022. Nothing happened so I went in April 21 to have him set up a date to come and measure the inside of my grandfather clock. He came April 28 and measured the inside of the casing and took a picture of the finial to the top of the cuckoo clock he took. He said he would order a timepiece for the grandfather clock. Nothing happened.I kept going in and checking but nothing. He came out again on August 17, 2022 and did the measurements again...still no compensation.When I went in on September 24, 2022 he said he found my weights and pendulum. I brought them home., but still no working face/clock.On December 7, 2022 I brought in another letter with a copy of the invoice and a picture of my grandfather clock, stating I hope he would be able to locate the missing part and the cuckoo clock.I purchased the clocks in West Germany in the 60's, so if they are not found and returned in working condition, I want to be compensated in cash for the value of replacements as I doubt he will be able to locate them.Thank you,***************************

    Brought a clock in for cleaning and to fix an issue with it being over wound.After numerous phone calls, visits, excuses still have no clock. Have even gone into his back room and searched and brought him a picture. Still cannot give my clock back.

    I am having a difficult time with a store owner in *********. 1 year and 3 months ago ***** from classical Clocks and antique in ********* came to my house took a pendulum for repair and a very rare French clock to clean. When I asked him for an invoice he said he was out and would bring one by later. He never did and the entire conversation was caught on ring camera. I waited patiently for 2 weeks and called for updates and he said he was swamped with work and hadnt gotten to either item and was waiting on parts for my grandfather clock pendulum. Every week for 1 year and 2.5 months I have contacted *****. He always tells me he hasnt done any work and I have asked him weekly for my items returned. Always an excuse I have been kind and patient. Today I went in there. Enough is enough and I poked around myself. Nowhere was my clock to be found. I told ***** I wanted my items back by Monday or I would bring my receipt to him and he can pay me for I had paid for the clock. His response thats never going to happen and you can leave my shop. I lost my coolSomeone came in the shop and walked into the exchange of words and walked out. I walked outside and the gentleman said he heard everything and felt sorry for me. ***** walked outside when he saw me talking to the gentleman and I asked him what he wanted and he said he was coming out to see the rain. I told him Monday have my clock or be prepared to pay for it. And he asked me to dont talk to him like that. He had Covid last year. And thats his excuse for not giving me back my items. I repeated please have my items back by Monday or be prepared to pay me for I paid for them and he smirked at me..I have been more then accommodating and at this point My patience is gone and I want my stuff. I do Not understand his business practices . I am not the first person he has done this to based off the yelp reviews I read the other day.. he SHOULD NOT be in business. He is very dishonest.
