1 starDo not use this company!!!! I REGRET DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM. THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WASTED! I got 3 mini splits hvac system installed and solar panels on my roof in 2019. I've been calling this company since 2020 asking them to finish the maintenance work on my hvac systems. All 3 hvacs are leaking, they were supposed to get permits through the city of ******* and they never did that. It's 2025 and for the last 2 years, I am paying over 300+ dollars in *** bills and *** told me that the solar is NOT producing anything. They are a scam. All they want is your MONEY!!!! They never return calls or emails at all. I will be suing them. This is outrageous!Review fromSharon M

We had True Renewable Energy come over to inspect our HVAC system as we knew it was on its last leg. Their rep, Patrick, saw it and knew right away that was the case. We were afraid we would not qualify for any financing, but both Patrick & the company helped us get approved! The AC was upgraded & installed within days after that. Now we have been living comfortably all summer long. Thank you so much to the whole True Renewable Energy team!

2 starsLeaving two stars because in the end, we do finally have a functional solar and **** system... but it was an odyssey which ended in ** dearly wishing we'd gone with someone else. They were initially friendly, responsive, and encouraging every step of the way until they had our money. After we had signed the contract, things started to go awry. -No communication on timeline, proposed start dates would pass with no word -Workers would show up without warning another day -We had to hound them for weeks to get someone to just level with us about how long it would take to get an inspector from PG&E out so we could start using our system -This literally took months. A quick call with a PG&E rep cleared up my expectations, but why someone at True Renewable Energy could not do this sooner, I have no idea.The icing on the cake is that finally after long awaited inspections, and needing repairs on the **** system after only a few months, we got our property tax bill and were horrified to find that the loan which True Renewable Energy encouraged us to take out required payback though enormous installments twice a year lumped in with our semi-annual taxes. Not monthly in smaller increments after 18 months, as we were led to believe. When I emailed them about clarity around this, they simply didn't respond. Our fault for not going over the agreement with a fine-toothed comb, but this behavior is objectively opaque and predatory. It is, on no uncertain terms, not what our sales representative (***) explained to us with regards to what we could expect for a repayment plan. We asked him several times to help us understand the language we were looking at, and what we could expect. We would have never taken a loan like this out on these terms. Now we may have to seek professional help to avoid selling our beloved home altogether. The True Renewable Energy team are cagey, unreliable and misleading. I'm so disappointed and sad about how this experience has hurt my family.Review fromTom H

Im a home owner in ************ and have been jumping through hoops trying to find a company with not only the best price, but the best user experience as well. ********************** was most communicative and explained exactly what to expect, and delivered!
