    This company never have time to address customers concerns. Poor communication, discrepancies between sales proposals and contracts, ( i was told that my panels were going to produce so much energy that *** was going to buy it from me. ) subpar installation quality, lack of responsiveness to customer concerns, and managers or supervisors are never available. I am thinking of taking further action against them. I have Tru-up bill of over ******** with PGE, and they said because i am not sending energy to the grid. I am using a lot of their service! i installed 30 panels and I should not pay to both companies. No one has ever come to check the problem and they seem to not care.

    full disclosure My install goes in tomorrow! I'm rating them so low because their sales proposal and my contract have different equipment. The proposal and talking them had different equipment than the contract. My fault for not reading the contract in full but the sales manager Omar told me its not their fault and it's my problem. I have 3 emails out to them asking them to call me to go over plans, all unanswered. I have proof that the contract and sales proposal is different. I hoping the install is excellent! However, even if the install goes great, I would avoid this company!!!!

    American Array exceeded my expectations & got my system installed within 30 days after signing. My sales rep ******** was super helpful & made sure I understood the process in its entirety so that I could make the most informed decision. 10/10 recommend. Way to go American Array!

    I paid $2000 deposit on 11/8/22 for two houses(one is mine, another is my parents house) for solar panels installation, and got the confirmed from the sales rep of American Array Solar that the installation time would be before 1/10/2023. haven't heard from them till 1/10/2023, called the sales rep for a couple of times and got the answer that I have to find their project manager. I emailed the installation **** for several times, and never got any reply. on 2/6/23, I emailed them asking for cancelling the service, and asked for the refund, never got any reply. emailed them several time again, never got any reply. on 3/4/23, suddenly got an email from American Array saying the solar panel is ready for installation, also saying they're short of hand because "One people leave, one people take the maternity leave, why they try to let me take the consequences for their fault" I replied immediately that I have already informed them formally that due to they couldn't fulfill the commitment and lack of communication, I need to cancel the service and ask for the refund. They refused to do the refund, and wanted to move on with installation, I told them I don't trust them for the installation and after service now, and wanted to have the money back. Haven't heard from them ever since then. All the above saying has text/email as evidence. Thank you,

    We appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns raised by Ms. Wang regarding her solar panel project for both of her properties. We take all customer feedback seriously and strive to provide clarity regarding the circumstances surrounding Ms. Wang's project. As part of our commitment to ensure customer satisfaction, we offer a standard grace period of three days to allow our customers to reconsider their projects before we commence any work. Ms. Wang did not notify us of her intention to cancel her project within this grace period. Ms. Wang had a dedicated project manager working on her project who had to take an emergency leave of absence. This is not to say everything is blamed on one employee leaving on emergency leave. It is because she was the main point of contact for Ms. Wang. We investigated this project closely. We did not receive any formal request for cancellation until our installation manager called Ms. Wang to schedule installation. As Ms. Wang, may or may not be aware there was a rush in Solar projects/applications due to NEM 2 changes taking place that would affect all major utility companies including Ms. Wang’s. Which our team tried to explain and submitted paperwork to the utility for Ms. Wang.


    Regarding the estimated completion date notated in our contract agreements, we want to emphasize that these dates are indeed estimates. The timing of project completion is influenced by numerous factors beyond our control, including permit issuance and utility approvals. We acknowledge that Ms. Wang's project faced unexpected delays due to NEM 2 changes and tried our best to explain the reason. It is essential to highlight that we allocated significant resources and time into Ms. Wang's project, including site assessments, design engineering, permitting, utility applications, and material procurement. These efforts were made with the intention of fulfilling our commitment to her solar panel installation. We have taken a loss on all work invested in her project. The $2,000 deposit does not cover half of our damages and loss. We remain committed to addressing her concerns and resolving this matter to her satisfaction. To this end, we are open to discussing potential resolutions with Ms. Wang, including options for rescheduling the project or exploring alternative solutions. We are committed to resolving this matter to the best of our ability and to continue providing quality service to our valued customers. Should you require any further information or clarification regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to contact us.
