  I am a victim of predatory towing by all towing company. Its been 7 days already since they towed my car and I still do not have any letter from them when I called to request a report and info about my car they refused rudely and argued and even questioned why I need such information but instead they said they will call the property management for me so I needed to call back and when I did they said they dont want to speak with and ridiculed my efforts for trying to get information and the last words said to me was just pay and when I asked how much they said they will not do the calculations because its not there job to do so and when I asked what fees he proceeded and added more fees very unprofessional I have a special needs teen we rely on that car to go to his doctors appointments for his evaluations its also my transportation to job sites I freelance handiwork but since all my tools r in my car and was not able to show up for work the job was given to another worker this is unacceptable. I can not pay the outrageous fees and my folks are not able to help so my options are to *** them for hardships Im facing now my son needs to continue seeing his doctors and therapy and I have to find ways to make ends meet ** a single father that provides for my son and help my elderly mother and we dont deserve this predatory unscrupulous business making our lives difficult rightnow I am becoming desperate thank you for taking time to read this I hope to hear from you soon.

  As I drove through downtown **** I notice they are having a ******** market starting. I saw a tow truck in my rearview and proceeded to park my car at the post office. I knew not to park on the main road because cars were being towed due to the event. This was at approximately 4pm on a weekday so post office was open. I dropped my mail off in box and decided to go across the street and look around at thrift store for a bit. The post office parking lot had a few other spots open but mostly full and there were no signs stating they were towing for the event so dont park there. When I left the store about 45mins later my car was gone. I called ******* and they directed me to All towing. I called tow company to inquire on my car and informed them I had just purchased the car and my documents were in the car along with my drivers license and personal items. I was told I had to have car in my name so I focused on getting anything I could to show ownership. I was able to complete paperwork on DMV website and a few days later I went to tow yard. He told me since I didnt have id he couldnt help me. I explained it was in the car. I showed him the keys and paperwork, no luck. Now the rate is so high I feared I would lose my car but it was in my name so I contacted tow yard again to ask about getting my belongings and how much to get car out. He told me he didnt have it anymore that it went to dismantler and everything was left inside. Put me on hold and then proceeded to tell me they did have it but its $300 for my belongings and $3000 to buy my car back. Unfortunately I had been arrested for a case that was dropped after 13 days. My release date was the exact 30th day after car was towed. That was when he told me I had to buy my belongings and $3000 to buy my car back. A few months later fast track tickets started coming in the mail for someone that is driving my car around. The tow company didn't process paperwork, car is still in my name & they sent a $4k **** for services

  Per the law of the *******************, we are only allowed access to the vehicle to the current registered owner, and he or she shall provide the CURRENT registration and identification per vehicle code *****

  you were unable to provide this information the vehicle was liened , the lien was cleared, vehicle became property of All Towing dmv is aware of All Towing taking ownership over the vehicle, the fees you claim to get after from fast track must be a issue you have between DMV and you , we have nothing to do with that please contact them.

  I am rejecting this response because: I was able to show ownership and you sent me the lein paperwork. Under registered owner it lists my name as owner. (First attachment). It also states in the first letter that the tow was NOT a public agency tow contridicting the second attachment which was the first letter sent telling me you had my car. I called the police department as soon as my car was gone and they told me they DID NOT authorize the tow. I have been in contact with DMV and they STILL have me listed as registered owner meaning they DO NOT have record of ALL TOWING legally selling my car. This is why I continue to get fast track tickets. They (the dmv) are the ones who suggested I contact the BBB.
