    This morning on Saturday, April 12, 2025 I was interupted during my workout because the facility moved the machines to an are where they have class due to them redoing the floor. This is unfair for I pay for my membership which is 85 dollars a month and due to construction I am limited to what I use. Therefore I feel I deserve a credit on my membership for the machine I normally use is unavailable in another area.

    I have been trying to contact Iconix Fitness to resolve this issue but have been getting the run around and no response. I have cancelled my membership with them last year in November 2021 due to the pandemic and had spoken to a representative to do so. Their representative had called me asking if I will be returning since their gym is open, gave me a spheel about how they are disinfecting, etc. I had told them I will not be returning as I no longer work in that area so would like to cancel my membership. She did not once tell me I had to cancel via their website. However, I have recently found that they have been charging a monthly charge of $115 per month since December 2021. I didn't notice as it was a bank credit card that I don't usually use until October 2022. When I had reached out to the manager, I kept getting no response. For months. Until finally I had caught the assistant manager who had said she could only refund me for 3 months. She would need the manager's approval to refund me more than that. So I've been trying to get a hold of the manager, and have been getting the runaround again. He told me he will need to speak with the "finance department". He is now not responding to me. I have tried asking for the "finance department" and have been told it was the manager. This is a mistake on their part and they are refusing to communicate with me because they would not like to refund me.
