Since February 2025, i've disclosed to my management company that we have rodents in our apartment. There are mouse droppings all over the apartment, especially behind the refrigerator, underneath the non-working wall heater and in the bedroom closet. They sent an exterminator to examine entry points and they supposedly covered them. We spent an unexpected amount on ***************** traps, due to the continuous entrapment of mice. We reached out to the management company again because our kitchen camera captured mice coming out from underneath the refrigerator and they sent a maintenance worker to cover entry way cracks behind the refrigerator. That held mice from entering for a few days, then the following week, the mice returned. Now they are being caught underneath the wall heater. We caught 3 mice in one trap on 04/05/25 and I disclosed this to the management company again. I feel at this point, the management company isn't taking this situation serious. We have 3 grandchildren we care for over the weekend and the mouse droppings have been found around the kids toys, their shoes, their towels, causing safety concerns for me and my family. Our stove was FULL of mouse droppings, on the pots, on the pans, in the oven, i'm pretty sure droppings ended up in some of our food and consumed. The company hasn't taken any aggressive actions towards fixing our rodent problem. We have been faithful tenants for coming on 10 years and this is the worse its ever been. I've never gotten reimbursed for all the traps i've spent money on. I've advised "***" at B&B properties about this issue. I've provided photos. She does everything she has in her power to do, but essentially, I need this company to be investigated for not addressing this issue with the property and building at ******************. I am seeking 2 months of rental reimbursement ($3210.00) for living in these conditions since February 2025 without retaliation towards us a long-term tenants.

We do have a monthly pest control contract with ********* Pest Control. Each call we received from the tenant, a work order was issued for the pest control company to inspect and treat. The technician has gone out and provided service. The holes in the heater have been sealed using steel wool. The unit was inspected on April 17, 2025 while the husband was home. During the discussion with the husband, he stated that it did not look like they were coming in from the heater any longer. He believes that they are entering through the gap under the metal screen door. We will be installing an extension to the bottom of the door to prevent rodents or any other pests from entering the unit. The pest control technician will go into the unit on a regular basis to ensure it is working. Maintenance will also ensure that all vent screens for the crawl spaces at the base of the building are secure and not damaged. We will continue to try everything to ensure this is issue is solved.
