I signed up for a 4 week poker dealer course at Millennium, paying the $950 fee up front on November 30, 2022. The course was intended to culminate in a state certification exam, administered by the school itself. As the course (which began on January 9, 2023) progressed, the primary instructor, *****, became increasingly belligerent and demeaning, insulting me when I asked questions and eventually, by the last 2 weeks of the course, refusing to teach me at all. On February 2, 2023, when the certification test was to be held, I inquired of ********, another employee at the school, if I could delay my test to another week, since I felt I had not been adequately instructed, and that I had been shaken by the treatment I had received. Before we could discuss this in depth, ***** barged into the room ******** and I were in, angrily berating me and eventually asking me to leave. I was shocked at his behavior. At this point, he, in an apoplectic state,, threatened to call the police if I didnt leave the premises and told me that I wouldnt be able to take the certification exam, the entire point of the course. Because ***** was screaming and accusing me of trespassing, I felt threatened and I left.I would like a full refund of the $950 fee; I was prevented, through no fault of my own, from completing the course and taking the certification exam, which, again, was the whole point of the course.Documentation of my payment is attached as a PDF below.
