For the past five years, a resident named *****, along with her guests, has repeatedly harassed me, my wife, and other residents by illegally parking in front of my garage, blocking access. This happens multiple times a day, for varying lengths of time. Despite our repeated requests for them to stop, the behavior continues. It became so stressful that about a year ago, we decided to sell the car in our garage just to avoid dealing with it.Other residents have also complained, and we've contacted the *** and Security Team numerous times. The Security Teams response has been minimal, only occasionally issuing "tickets" with no real ************** August 2024, I moved to ******* to care for my elderly mother with late-stage Alzheimers. I am renting my LA townhome to three individuals, but the *** is refusing to issue them street parking passes due to a rule requiring one vehicle to be parked in the garage. Before moving, I raised concerns with ******** from the *** office about the garage being consistently blocked, and she verbally assured me that we wouldnt need to park a car in the garage due to this ongoing issue. Now, the *** is claiming this offer was only for me, not my tenants, despite having an email confirming this conversation, with my wife as a witness.Since I was told I didn't need to use the garage, I filled it with belongings from my townhome. Now, the *** is demanding I clear the garage to issue a parking pass but won't guarantee theyll provide the passes even if I comply.Heres my proposed solution:A written guarantee from the Board that, if I clear the garage, they will issue one garage parking pass and two street parking passes for my tenants.A written commitment from the Board that the Security Team will immediately call a tow truck whenever notified of illegal parking in front of my garage.
