    I needed a HV** installation for a unit that was no longer working. ****** was offering the Lennox system which I had before and made arrangements to have a system installed by Precise Air, who is contracted with ******. My original system had been installed by Precise Air 22 years prior and I was very unhappy with their customer service then. Since ********************** Air is the contractor that ****** used for my area I was stuck. Documents were signed on July 7, 2023 with an install date of July 24, 2023. Prior to the units installation, the weather became extremely hot with 90 degree temperatures daily through today, August 2, 2023. This extreme temperature caused me sleepless nights, depression and I was very quick to anger. I am also a widow in my late 60s and feel the extreme temperatures could possibly cause other health issues. After having workers in my home for 3 three days, July *****, 2023, it was discovered the ** unit was defective right out of the box. Precise tried to make arrangements to have the unit fixed but found out it was not fixable but never kept me update on their progress. After making numerous calls myself to ****** and ************************** authorized a new replacement unit. The new unit was delivered yesterday, August 1, 2023, to Precise and I only found out that it was received by Precise because I called them. I am now being told that installation needs to be scheduled and I am still not given any answers as to when. Precise Air is very good at giving excuses for their behavior as well as doing what they can to duck your questions and phone calls. Anyone I spoke with at Precise gave me the excuse I am not authorized to do that and a conclusion was never reached. The owner and his son are who do have authorization have been on vacation out of the country, and unavailable. A company the size of Precise Air really should have better internal management.

    The job was scheduled on the 24th and was expected to take about 4 days. The condenser had an issue and we felt like you might have a bad unit. So we requested to get a new unit from ******, rather than fixing the problem.

    That procedure took a week. We returned on 8/3/23 to replace the bad condenser.

    We apologize for the lack of communication. With the high call volume during the  heat wave we fell behind.

    We are glad you have a good working system and look forward to maintaining it.

    I am rejecting this response because:  To be quite *****, I feel that this business over booked its work schedule as well as the owner of the business was unavailable to give approval for faster work for approximately 2 weeks because he was on vacation.  He should have appointed another person on his staff who had the authority to rectify situations such as mine.  How would you like to be waiting for air conditioning when it is during the hottest July record in years?  An apology was nice, but it didn't remedy my situation since I was the person who made all the phone calls to ****** and ****** to get this situation corrected.  Even after that took place, I was the one to call Precise to checkup on when the new parts arrived.  They did not have the courtesy to call me first.  That is why I am unhappy.
