    -******* into lease agreement in February of 2024. 3yr, ******miles. $280/month. -included incentive of $150 payout for every day vehicle is in the shop for repairs beyond 3 days. -July 2024 flooding due to misrouted condensate line leads to repairs taking more than 2 months. -January 2025 - Vinfast cancels incentive -February 2025 - Vehicle breaks down a second time. Weeks are going by. -Initiated request for buyback -April 2025 - Receive check for first year shop repair. -May 2025: receive offer of buyback stating that I owe $13K to fix up the car in order for them to approve a buyback offer.

    On March 21, 2025 I leased a VF8 from the Vinfast Showroom in ************************. That transaction also included a trade in of my 2018 Jeep Compass. The Jeep Compass was being financed through ************************ with a $10,144.44 loan balance. In **********, the vehicle Code Section ******* mandates that a dealership must pay off the outstanding loan or lease balance of a trade-in vehicle within 21 calendar days. As of today, 23 calendar days have passed and the loan balance for my 2018 Jeep Compass has not been paid off. I have attempted contact someone in the business office on several occasions by calling the concierge line and the showroom salespeople. Not once was I transferred to the business offices and not once have I received a returned call from the multiple messages that I have left. I have only gotten empty promises from Vinfast concierge agents that someone will call me back soon. And an email from the salesman, ********* ********, saying that he had confirmation from the Vinfast accounting department that the payoff would be mailed by end of business on March 28, 2025. I am still being held responsible for the monthly payments of the Jeep Compass and the insurance payments. Additionally the Vinfast car that I leased needs multiple repairs (parking assistance, turning camera, front camera, rear camera, left camera, side mirror adjustment, speed limit display, wheel alignment, turning signals, phone flat bed charger, phone plug in charger, car key flat bed, radio station reception, missing car manual on app and link, car app wont allow software update, 18 false alerts on app re car alarm, left fog light out, car battery doesnt hold charge, estimated driving range is drastically inaccurate, passenger airbags are turned off and wont turn on). The agreement with Vinfast was that all maintenance & repairs is free. Just call them and they would come pick up the car. I have called for weeks, left messages and they wont call me back.

    READ MY HONEST REVIEW AND EXPERIENCE ABOUT VINFAST CAR COMPANY. I bought this car on Nov 2024. I was parking my car in my garage and after i took off my foot from the brake pad, the car accelerated fast. Way faster than normal car. I damaged the car and my house wall. I communicated and discussed few times what happened. I did wait for 2 months just for them to tell me it was my fault and they are not responsible for it. Again, i was parking my car. I have been driving for almost 3 decades and never had this accident in any of my previous car. IT WAS A DANGEROUS EXPERIENCE. THE COMPANY MUST FIX THIS ISSUE AND TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY BUT THEY DID NOT. VERY UPSET. NOT GOOD EXPERIENCE OVERALL. AGAIN, THE CAR ACCELERATED SO FAST AFTER I RELEASED MY FOOT FROM THE BRAKE PEDAL WHICH IS VERY DANGEROUS. THEY DID NOT EVEN TAKE ACTION or FIX MY CAR, OR ADMIT THAT WAS MANUFACTURERS FAULT.

    Since taking delivery of my 2023 Vinfast VF8 in March of 2024, I've had a variety of serious safety issues that have led to my vehicle being in the service center for over 40 days, all within the first 5 months of delivery. One of the serious safety issues involved my car stalling in the middle of the road, without the ability to go into drive or reverse!. My car qualifies as a lemon however Vinfast has been reluctant to even respond to my inquiry regarding possible replacement or refund.

    I reserved a vehicle and did a loan application fully and was told by the representative in the ********, California ***** that I'd get approved once paying the $200 deposit. I wasn't approved and didn't get a refund. The transaction was to my Branch, ************************ debit card on my statement from Vinfastauto.us for $200 on 4/3/2024.

    I contacted Vinfast on Jan 2nd to cancel VF8 reservation (RSVN ID: ************** and requested refund $200 refundable deposit that I paid on April, 2022. I received a confirmation email on Jan 05th that RSVN CNXLED and refund would be processed. But still didn't receive the refund and contact the customer service several times, but they keep saying wait for couple more days or contact my credit card company for any pending credit which i did and there is no pending credit issued by Vinfast till today (02/07/2023). Thank you.

    Our payment processor processed ************** refund on January 17th, 2023.  A confirmation letter from the vendor confirming his refund was emailed to ********* on February 10th.  There have been no further communications from **********  This issue is resolved.

    On 9/1/22, I contacted Vinfast Auto customer service to cancel an ******** car reservation and refund the $200 refundable deposit that I paid on 1/13/22. I received a confirmation emailed dated 9/1/22 indicating my refund would be processed.

    On 9/12/22, I received an email from Vinfast indicating my refund was processed on 9/3/22- I would need to work with my credit union as there may be a processing error on their part.

    As of 9/28/22 I have not received my $200 refund from Vinfast. I am requesting that Vinfast properly refund my deposit. Thank You
