******. If you do not buy their "toll package" for $10 per day, they will charge you a $25.00 admin fee for EACH toll you go through. Rent from somewhere else!

Rented a car for 6 days from ***. When car was returned, they wouldnt explain agent inspected the car and told us were good to go. While we were standing in line for 10 mins for the airport shuttle, they come looking for me and say the car has been damaged. The car was returned in the same condition as we took ****** theyre claiming damages and charging my credit card $400 to wards claims and more after car if back from the garage. Cannot be trusted, go to more well known companies.

I rented a car from ***** and needed to add an additional driver. **************** directed me to their ******************** location, and thats when the nightmare began. Upon arrival, they demanded my passport, even though I had already provided my Real ID and drivers licensethe same documents I used to rent the car. What happened next was outrageous: They trapped us inside the garage! Despite not renting the car from this location, the station manager, Will, treated us like criminals and wouldnt let us leave. We were forced to abandon the car two days before the rental period ended. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. I strongly urge you to avoid Hertz at Midway. The staff was rude, and their treatment of us was completely unacceptable

No Stars!*A local agency with "no support if out of the area and in distress".*Has a limited arrangement with *** Boys", which in our instance was helpful but had their hands tied when it came to replacing a flat tire.*Promised 3 times to immediately have a Supervisor call back - NOT ONCE was there a return call!*Oh by the way, don't get a flat, Midway says it's your fault.*Another note, the rental had less than 1000 miles and it already had different tires on it...unfortunately *** Boys DID NOT, carry the Tire that needed to be replaced...waited 3 days and had to drive on the small slate, as Midway avoided returning the my call about the replacement. So, the point of sharing "my Midway Saga", go with a ************** as in at least 2 instances, for different reasons, I turned in my rental and had it replaced with a substitute and in each instance, received an upgrade "for the Inconvenience"!So, Read the small print of your contract, and be familiar with the Numerous Restrictions!

I booked a mid-size car through Expedia from 7/7 to 7/10/2023. I waited for 40 minutes and finally reached the front with everything ready. The clerk gave me a quote $30 higher than my contract price and asked for my ID and credit cards. I provide all and more to him. He then started asking for unreasonably more documents. I gave him my work ID with picture, another credit card, and a BOA debit card, he still demands a document including a current utility bill with my current address. I searched on all documents saved on my phone and showed him my 2023 tax return, mortgage interest statement, and all other documents submitted to my 2022 IRS tax return. But he refused to take any simply because they all show our PO Box as address (we do not give out our address lightly due to safety and security reasons as advised by all financial advisors). This clerk has no clue this is a sensible practice. After showing him all these documents, he still refused to honor my legal car rental contract. I asked him to show me the credit report on his screen, it clearly shows our current address in ****** that we bought a year ago and another residence in ****************** we used as an investment property with a 780 800 credit score on his screen. In the meantime, the waiting line was getting longer simply because he held up the transaction. I finally called my wife at home, and she scrambled to find a paper bill from DWP, plus an online statement. After all this, he still refused to continue the transaction because I said I will complain to the headquarters. I had to leave empty-handed after two hours there and hours of travel to this place. I wasted a whole afternoon and missed an appointment and its all due to an incompetent and unprofessional front clerk. Midway has severe structural, organizational, and personnel deficiencies so this will never happen to other innocent consumers. NO STAR.

As a courtesy, we email everyone a day in advance Rental Requirements which includes that we will need to verify your residence.

Verifying current address is a common practice in the car rental industry for local residence.  As we state it in our ************************************************** as well as another car rental agency such as AVIS.

On July 6, 2023 ************ came in and presented his driver license.  We utilize a service that searches over 100 billion public records for risk management to verify and authenticate.  From the search the address on his driver license was outdated since 2021.  At that time,we asked for a current resident address and a  copy of utility bill to proof his residency which he did not have.

On his email to me dated July 11, 2023 at 10:24AM he reached out to his wife and at first she only locate an year old paper bill from DWP and finally located online statement.  By this time 40 minutes did pass and our employee patiently waited with him at the counter for documents to arrive.  While ************ was waiting on his wife to provide the necessary document; according to our employees his demeaner got irritated towards our staff.  We decided to walk him out away from the counter, and we immediately try to resolve this issue and called him however he did not return our call.

In reply to his statement/review/complaint above.  He booked a mid-size car for July 6th not the 7th.  We do not run credit report therefore we do not know his credit score.  We do not need individuals personal income tax or mortgage statement.  Our requirement is simple for our local ******************* residence is to show proof of their current residency.

As we pride ourselves with passion for excellence, and a purpose of mobility, we promise to deliver a VIP customer experience.  All we ask is to have our customers meet our requirements to rent vehicles from us and follow our policy and agree to our terms and conditions.

Do not use this place. did not disclose the need for returning flight information. I have not even heard of that before. Also mocking customers in front of other customers.

Avoid - worst car rental experience I ever had!Booked a rental over a month in advance for *** for 6 days. After 2 shuttles, arriving ~9:30, had to wait in long line to then find out they were telling everyone no cars available, and it would be a 45 minute wait. However, upon questioning, I learned it could be also any long length of time (90 minutes ++), as they need to wait for cars to be returned, and a bunch of people ahead of us waiting. Ended up Ubering the entire trip.Making a reservation there is a scam, as they over book to ensure they constantly have all cars in use.

If you want excellent fair service with a smile, I suggest you visit Midway Car Rental at *****************************************************************************************. They treated me like royalty and were extremely courteous. Plus, the auto rental price was phenomenal.
