    ORIGINAL CONTRACT SIGNED ON MARCH 23, 2023. GAVE $6,500 DEPOSIT TO "CONTRACTOR" WHO PAID CEDROS DEL LIBANO (CDL). WHEN THE "CONTRACTOR" TOOK MY MONEY BUT FAILED TO PAY THE CDL, CDL HELD MY CABINETS HOSTAGE. FROM THE BEGINNING, ******* AT CDL FAILED TO RETURN ANY OF MY TEXTS OR ***** CALLS.I FINALLY GOT IN TOUCH WITH ******* AND ENTERED INTO A NEW CONTRACT DIRECTLY WITH CDL AND GAVE THEM AN ADDITIONAL $7,000 ON JUNE 15, 2023. THERE IS A FULL SECTION OF CABINETRY THAT WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE DESIGN I SIGNED OFF ON; ******* NEVER SENT ME A CHANGE ORDER NOR CALLED ME TO DISCUSS PRIOR. ON JUNE 22, 2023, I ASK HIM TO COME UP WITH A PLAN TO RESOLVE THE MISTAKE.I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM *******, AND I TRIED CONTACTING HIM ON JULY 26. HE SAID HE WAS AT AN INSTALLATION AND WOULD CALL ME BACK; HE NEVER DID. I CALLED (MAILBOX ALWAYS FULL) AND FOLLOWED UP WITH A TEXT ON 7/27, 7/28, 7/29, AND 7/30. HE TEXTED THAT HIS ***** WAS 'STOLEN."I CALLED/TEXTED HIM ON JULY 30 AND JULY 31 AND ASKED HIM TO CALL ME, BUT NEVER HEARD BACK. CALLED/TEXTED ON 8/1 AND HE TEXTED THAT HE WAS IN THE *** AND WOULD CALL IN AN HOUR; NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HIM. I SENT HIM A TEXT ON 8/2 STATING HOW IRRESPONSIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL HE WAS BEING WITH HIS FATHER'S BUSINESS. I CALLED ******* ON AUGUST 3 AND IT WAS THE FIRST TIME HE PICKED UP THE ***** AND WE ARRANGED TO MEET AT MY PLACE TODAY, AUGUST 7 AT 10:00 AM. HE REPLIED TO MY TEXT ON 8/4 TO ANSWER A QUESTION AND SAID HE WOULD SEE ME ON MONDAY.I SENT A TEXT LAST NIGHT AND TWO TEXTS THIS MORNING ASKING HIM TO CONFIRM OUR APPOINTMENT. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HIM AND HE DID NOT SHOW. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO LIVE IN MY HOME SINCE THE END OF APRIL WITHOUT A FUNCTIONING KITCHEN AND I'M HAVING A VERY DIFFICULT TIME FINDING A CABINET MAKER WHO WILL TAKE OVER SOMEONE ELSE'S JOB. I AM OUT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AND WOULD LIKE TO RECOUP AT LEAST SOME OF MY MONEY.
