Hi there,I needed my cracked screen on my laptop repaired and I went to Yelp for a quote. Steven Rivas Computer Service reached out to me with a reasonable quote so I went with him. He had me drive down to his address at ********************************* to drop the computer off. After a few days I picked it up and it seemed to be fixed. He said he used the best quality screen display that there was. 5 months later my screen is having issues at the bottom of the screen. These are known as "stage lights" and from my research and discussion with other repair offices, they said it's the result of a cheap display or faulty wiring and that it should be covered by at least a 6 month warranty. I reached out to Steven with my issues and he attempted to charge me another $289 for another new screen. I told him it was only 5 months old and shouldn't be failing like it is. He lied to me and said it was another issue and then when confronted, he said the screen was only covered by a 90 day warranty? I've attached screenshots of our entire text conversation as well as my original receipt and a picture of my faulty screen. It seems Steven's business wasn't registered on BBB.Please let me know if there's anything else I can provide. All the best,*******
