      We are 4 international travelers that exchanged our cash of $3000 usd to 33600 yen at the ********************** (International Currency Exchange). We were told that the exchange rate of 1.12 was applied by the bank and that the current spot rate of 1.40 was only applicable to wholesale exchanges of $1 million USD or above. This information was verifiably false and was intentionally obfuscated from us even after the exchange. Furthermore, the kiosk attendant did not allow us to fully process the exchange until after it was completed. After, we wished to reverse the transaction 5 minutes after the fact and were told that it could not be completed.

      Under most circumstances we would just pass this off as a lesson learned however, as we pooled our money for exchange, this was a substantial mislead and led to a material loss of money. We have no intention of spending this money and would like a full exchange refund OR the hidden fee paid as reparation.

      Please let us know how to proceed, we have every intent to pursue this. Please see attached images for support.

      In regards to this complaint, on September 10th, 2022, a full refund was issued to the customer. 336,000 Japanese Yen was collected ****** and $3000 US dollars was received in cash by customer. Documentation can be provided if requested.
