  I cannot express my gratitude for this school and its education model enough. if I could shout it from the rooftops, I would! I have a child attending their second year at Argo Navis as a 4th grader. Its a new school, but what they have been able to accomplish in a short time is remarkable. Its hard to list all of my favorite things because **** does so much, but heres a few: The kids have lockers and the school serves breakfast and lunch, so no need for heavy backpacks!The teachers are incredible in their specialized fields and students rotate 5 standard classes per day plus a ton of extra curriculars all offered in house. I *************** is a daily class, and so is Spanish. The small class sizes of under 10 kids also mean that your child can be met where they are for their educational needs. **** also offers all the extra classes you could ever want so you don't have to coordinate things like dance classes and sports. They also go on several field trips and epic activities like sailing a scuba diving are included for no extra costs! One of my personal favs is the school pets. Pigsly the pet pig, and ****, a highly trained ********** ******* bring so much joy to school as well. As an added bonus, youll find the most amazing community of families here. Its not easy to find your tribe in this city, and the ************** is a refreshing breath of fresh air.

  The average Assistant Head of School salary in ********** is $107,491 as of August 27, 2023, but the range typically falls between $98,218 and $118,465.I was paid $65k to work M-F from 9:00am-6:00pm with no lunch break as an Assistant Head of School. Was asked by Head of School to work weekends from July - September, 2022 and told not to take my vacation. Was never compensated for time worked including but not limited to, lunch breaks, 24 hr+ chaperone trips, vacation days earned. They take advantage of people by filing them as exempt employees.

  The ********************** school is not a safe environment for children. The students are left unattended to play on ***** concrete for long periods of time. Three students in the last six months have required trips to the hospital. The schools newly certified SCUBA instructor has never taught children how to SCUBA dive before! Please, if you do send your children to this school, do not let them go thirty feet underwater with a novice SCUBA instructor. A child is going to get seriously hurt, even more than they already have.

  *WARNING*First and foremost, I must call out the fantastic set of wonderful and warm-hearted teachers that treated our two girls like their own and we loved them for that.Be as it may, the founders, Ryanne and **** are anything but sunshine and roses, so I urge you not to fall into the trap of their progressive narrative. They are dishonest, threatening and the epitome of white capitalists that are only in it for one thing: Financial gain off the backs of working parents in Los Angeles (which they are not even good at). I feel bad for the underpaid teachers at this school and hope they find their worth one day. I could sit here and write a novel about our 2.5 year experience with these two shady individuals, their attempts at cover-*** or outright lies , but I dare not waste anymore energy on them as we are still paying off the unused school year after we had to unexpectedly move out of the city - And threatened with lawyers and courtrooms if we didn't do so. However, If anyone would like further incite, I'd be glad to speak with you and even point you toward many other parents that have experienced the same results. If you are truly in search of the Golden Fleece for your child's education, stay clear of this sinking Argo ship, as ***** and his trusted Argonauts are not at all present.
