    Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to register a complaint against Mimiq (formerly known as Smart Mimic), a **************-based company specializing in the development of fifth-generation low-power, long-range connected consumer devices for portable safety, tracking, and other applications. I am the owner of a Finestra Miner, a product of Mimiq.On August 24, 2023, I discovered that my Finestra Miner was malfunctioning. I promptly reached out for support via email at *************************************************** *********** responded on August 28, 2023, suggesting that I could rectify the issue by reformatting my SD Card with a new image. They recommended the purchase of an A2 type SD card to enhance the device's longevity. I followed their advice and accessed the provided link (*************************************) for do-it-yourself instructions and a tutorial video. However, I encountered an obstacle as the link did not furnish the necessary configuration file.I communicated this issue to Mimiq via email on September 1, 2023, stating, "It seems that I'm not able to obtain my config file." They acknowledged my concern on the same day, informing me that they had requested the config.json file from their technical team and would provide it as soon as possible. Regrettably, despite their assurance, I have not received the required file to date, leaving my Finestra Miner inoperative.I am seeking a prompt resolution to this matter as the delay has already caused inconvenience and a loss of functionality of my Finestra Miner. I am hopeful that filing this complaint will expedite the technical support process, enabling me to fully utilize my Finestra Miner as intended.Thank you for your attention to this matter.     The product the sell does not work and I asked to return the device they just give me the run around and have me try other things to get it to work which it doesnot

    I purchased a product (************ Device) from Mimiq, Inc through a company called ****************** back in January,2022 ( I have receipts). Product was working fine up until the month of July. I reached out to Mimiq in August in hopes to get the device fixed. The representative that I was in contact with suggested that I take apart the device and fix it myself in which I responded "wouldn't that void my 1 year manufacturer warranty?". Representative responded by not acknowledging my question and instead provided an additional option of the sending the device in for repair which I agreed to. They confirmed that they received my device on 08/26/2022 and stated the turnaround time is about 15 business days. It has now been 31 business and Mimiq Inc. hasn't provided an update of any sort. I have sent several emails and still haven't received a response. At this point I need to start the process of holding someone accountable for the complete disregard of my time and my right as a consumer. I would hope the *** can help me reach a resolution with this company by either getting my device (fixed or equivalent) back to me within a reasonable amount of time or a full refund which is $1,078.65.

    I've attached my receipt of my purchase *********************. Only one of the miners were defective and is the product that is located at the Mimiq Inc. repair facility. In addition to that, I also included the email thread between myself and their support team. Please review the emails for context.
