    On November 3, 2024 at 5:00pm, my wife, child, and I paid a total of $120 to attend an exhibition at Ace Mission Studios. We were in the exhibit for 15 minutes before I had to use the restroom. The only ones the venue made available were the portable toilets located outside. We exited to use the toilets, but once we returned and showed the staff our tickets, we were told we could not return inside. Security guard told me we should have held it in, which I have on video record. I observed no signage outside informing patrons that we would not have access to bathrooms for the duration of the entire exhibition. In effect, once money was exchanged, patrons were not being allowed to use the restrooms.The exhibition manager made an exception to let my wife and child back in. For me, the experience was ruined by having to plead with a business to use a restroom after spending $40/person for the pleasure of "holding it in," as the security staff would have insisted.This is the same establishment that canceled an entire week of the exhibition four days prior due to undisclosed technical difficulties, leaving thousands of traveling ticket holders stranded in ***********. In addition to providing a record of my experience at Ace Mission Studios, I would like my $40 portion of the ticket refunded to me as I believe the basic expectations of a business based in *********** were not met, such as providing customers reasonable access to restroom facilities, training staff on identifying patrons from non-patrons, and considering the basic health and safety of those patronizing their establishment.
