    This company provides a service to deliver packages outside of the **** they advised me the packages were going to take 4-6 weeks to be delivered. My packages left on April ******* and til this day my packages have not been delivered. They are now claiming customs issue but give no other information. We call in the country this is at a they have no information all they say is call the office in ***********. They also say that they are not responsible is their company opens our packages and steals whatever they desire. But that the packages are being held and do not know when they will be released. So they do have the packages just claiming they dont have them. I need resolution as soon as possible and the items inside those packages are of dire need of my family. The children need clothes and shoes sent to them on there. They also need the school supplies. These people are very irresponsible and rude when answering questions and give no definitive answers. We are now going on 4 months and still no reply and say on we dont know.

    The customer didn't provide information in her complaint to identify the specific box she is talking about, but we are going to assume she is talking about one of the boxes retained by Guatemala's customs about three months ago. Boxes can be opened and searched by US customs, Guatemala's customs agency, and any other customs agency in any country where the container might be discharged in route to Guatemala. The company also reserves the right to open and inspect the contents of boxes.
    In this specific case, customs authorities may open and search all or some boxes for drugs, contraband, merchandise, or other illegal items. They found illegal items in some boxes, which led authorities to seize the entire container. Customs authorities seize the entire container, not just the boxes containing contraband. Ever since, the company has been fighting with customs to get those boxes out of their warehouse. This process has been long and expensive, but the company is doing it out of respect for the customers that trust their humanitarian aid to us and abide by the terms and conditions specified in our service contract.
    However, there is light at the end of the tunnel. We've been informed that possibly by the end of this week, those boxes are going to be released by Guatemala's customs. It's been a long, expensive, and complicated process, but we've done it to show our appreciation for our esteemed customers.
