Business has terrible customer service where it is almost impossible to get in contact with a manager. The business requires, ***** hours for a manager/supervisor callback. On top of that, the business is a scam. It is an breathalyzer business for individuals whom have had a DUI and it can give you lockouts for multiple reasons other than consuming alcohol. Including, but not limited to, mouthwash, windshield wiper fluid, cologne, etc. When a source of alcohol is detected, EVEN IF IT IS NOT CONSUMED, it results in a 5:00 minute lockout from your vehicle and a $75.00 violation reset charge!! HOW RIDICULOUS?! HOW SCAMMY. Im not supposed to be consuming alcohol, its not my fault that a faulty device cannot differentiate consumption from a general odor. Regardless, because of their fault device I have been ripped off of $75.00 multiple times. Their devices has left me stranded in unsafe conditions multiple times as well, with my newborn. Ive done a UA after every lockout and the court labs have not detected alcohol in my system, furthermore proving that their devices are faulty and SCAMMY!!

I am rejecting this response because:

Alcolock is an unprofessional and unethical business. Multiple lockout codes for different reasons? I cant even air up my tires with my air compressor that plugs into my trucks cigarette adapter without my interlock giving me a lockout code and I have to go visit my new best friend, the interlock tech. I have seen him every week since the year 2025 started, each for a new reason for their faulty devices. Which has resulted in time and money lost.

    Sincerely,

    **** *****

In **********, all recall parameters and settings are configured in accordance with the state mandated ignition interlock program. This means that if the participant does an action that triggers an event to cause a recall, then they must return to the center to have the ignition interlock device inspected and downloaded. As a courtesy, the complainant has been given free services on more than one occasion when it was found that the infraction was committed without malice.
