    Gomez Law *** AVOID AT ALL COSTS Gomez Law APC is currently under investigation by the ******************** due to their actions in my case.Please take the time to read not only this review, but others as well. Youll notice a consistent pattern of negligence, misrepresentation, excessive billing, and client abandonment. These are not isolated incidentsthis appears to be how they operate.If I could give zero stars, I would.I hired Gomez Law in January 2024 to represent me in a complex real estate case involving a home with over $800,000 in equity. Over the next 18 months, they billed me for over 301 hours at exorbitant rates while making almost no meaningful progress on the case. No depositions were taken. No discovery initiated. Then, just months before trial, they filed a motion to withdraw as counsel.Immediately after withdrawing, they filed a $107,000 lien against any future judgment or settlementessentially holding my case hostage. Worse, they sent this lien directly to opposing counsel, undermining all ongoing and future negotiations. In my opinion, this was intentionally destructive and ************** my only in-person hearing, no attorney from Gomez Law appeared. Instead, their paralegal ****** showed up alonesilent, unprepared, and unwilling to help. While I was being questioned by the judge and mocked by opposing counsel, he said nothing. The judge even asked him to advocate for me, and he declined. I was left completely unrepresented in court while still being charged by the firm.******* after their motion to withdraw was approved, ******* Gomez called me claiming he would continue settlement negotiations before the withdrawal was finalized. That call was the last time I heard from him or anyone at the firm.

    Gomez law represented my family in a big and complicated case of quiet title. After hundreds of hours of work and several years of litigation we finally settled the case bringing us a long-waited Victory. Though it is not common on cases like this to be in a contingency, Gomez law took out case and successfully processed it through the court system. All the attorneys assigned to our case were respectful, polite and treated us with courtesy. I am a licensed real estate agent in the ******************* Have been active for 41 years. I have worked with many attorneys in my long real estate profession, but I must say that Gomez law is the best firm I worked with, and I am very happy and satisfied with the level of service they provided my family.
