    I have been trying to payback a loan due on 07/23/25 to a ****** - I lost my debit card and tried uploading the new one to SOLO and it has been over a week and SOLO says the credit card is added, yet when I go to make the payment it says to add the debit card. Their customer service is terrible! They have no human beings you can reach out to and speak - I have been a customer for over 2 years and never had an issue and my score is 99. I have followed all their instructions to fix the glitch that is on their end. I spoke to my bank and they said they have no issues with them and that why cant SOLO just take the payment with my checking. SOLO has on their app that I can pay by checking account yet they dont want to accept this option. My last email to them was lets go to collections and when I have a real person to talk to I will make my payment to ******. I will not be using this app anymore and I highly recommend that NO one use this app or borrow money from them as their customer service is terrible and they dont have human beings and they dont have a technician or anyone to fix their payment glitches .

    I have been trying to payback my loan but to no avail I have contacted them several times and they say they are working on it it has nothing to do with my bank its on there end. the customer service ***** you cant talk to a real person and they dont reply half the time guess they dont want there money I feel bad for the lender cause I really am trying to pay back this loan this will be the last time too many problems with solo dont borrow from them you will regret it

    Our records show that you got a loan o June 20, 2025 with a due date of July 4, 2025. 

    On the due date, attempts to auto debit your card ending in 7100 failed due to a restriction on your bank debit card. As a result your card was temporarily frozen for 24 hours. To allow you time to resolve the issue with your bank, we removed the card on file to prevent further attempts. 

    You added a new card ending in 8444 to your account. However, this card also had issues. On July 8, we had to reset the payment method on your account which led to us to removing the card and reaching out to you to re-add the same card or another card. 

    On July 9, you re-added the same card and the payment was successfully completed and the loan status updated to 'Paid'. Please note, unfortunately, this loan will still reflect as a late repayment.

    We do recognize your efforts to repay the loan on time and appreciate this. As such we have increased your SoLo score to 90 and your borrowing limit to $450. We look forward to serving you again.

    Ive repeatedly ask the business to cancel my account and remove banking information. I attempted to cancel my account from there app, but was blocked from certain features. After signing up for a subscription, I immediately requested an account closure because the company has bad reviews. Im unable to speak with a person, has not responded to my emails nor confirm account has been closed

    Hi ***** C here I paid back 2 loans worth $100+ idk if my bank blocked them on the 3rd because they double charged me a week prior and I didnt receive a refund. I tried to pay manually on my 3rd worth $187 and i was never late prior, I was unable to add new card or change card info. I was told I am partially verified. Im sorry ****** (borrower)I would like to pay back the loan as I am day late now because of a glitch in app. I wish to continue to use app as before I had taken out 2 Loans paid back on time.

    On May 29, 2025, two auto debit attempts for repayment were unsuccessful due to an issue with your debit card.

    You then deposited $123 in your wallet and selected the "Pay Back" option. Since the deposit had not yet settled in your wallet, your linked debit card was successfully charged and the repayment of $122.96 was returned to the Lender. You then withdrew the $123 in your wallet to your linked debit card on May 29, 2025.

    I'm so frustrated and disgusted with the poor customer service that Solo has shown, and the clear lack of human interaction the company allows you to have as a user of their app. I have been trying to request a new loan for over 2 weeks. I cover all the bases for necessary criteria to request, and I have a high repayment score. But I still keep getting hit with a faulty "check balance" message every time I try to make a new request. The "escalation" my issue has received has only been verbalized in sparse emails that feel AI generated, but no direct action has taken place. It's wrong to play with peoples' money and not even have a phone number to call for assistance when things go wrong. It's also wrong to have your site listed as operational when that's clearly not the case for many users. Shame on y'all.

    I have had a bit of a frustrating experience with SoLo Funds. I was really glad to come across this app as I really needed support. I took out my first loan March 31st and repaid by April 3rd. My second loan was approved April 4th but I tried to withdraw the funds at separate times and my account was locked. I was not aware of that rule but support ensured the account would be unlocked April 30th/30 days after my account was activated. Everyone I have chatted with has been very nice but has told me there is virtually nothing they can do to unlock the account. It is now May 22nd and my account is still locked and there have been no updates despite multiple agents saying they would update me. I informed the last agent that it was alright and was going to deactivate my account but held onto the idea it may be resolved shortly after that. My account has now been locked for almost 2 months and still no update. I also have requested an estimated time line if at all possible. Even if it will be weeks it would still be great to get a response other than my concern has been escalated and there's nothing they can do outside of that.

    Thank you so much for your response! I am glad I did not deactivate as it was about a week from when I originally posted this that I got an update on my account. I appreciate the *********. In the future, it would still be nice to have at least some form of an estimate even if it is several weeks before escalated requests can be resolved. Better to under-promise and over-deliver than to give no updates at all. Again, I appreciate the support getting this resolved. :)

    I have been attempting to delete my account since supposedly they do not offer their service to California residents. My delete button option is greyed out and does not work and I cannot even click on it. It has been almost 2 weeks of them escalating my request to their tech support and my account still has not been deleted. I have contacted them 5-6 through email and chat and provided a screenshot of the delete option not working. Only one representative has always helped me each time and Im not sure if its an AI or a real individual but they are not comprehending the simple task I am asking. I am asking for them to remove my bank account and card, which is in error status and cannot be verified for some reason nor can I remove it myself (I mentioned this error and asked about it but they just do not even provide an answer), and delete my account. Getting a hold of someone takes forever where it could be ********************************************************************************** two over email. If they do not offer it to Californians, why not block or have a pop up saying when they see address in **********?

This the second reply of me informing them that the Solo Funds account still is not deleted and for the fifth or sixth time, the delete option is greyed out and I cannot delete the account on my own. I am not sure how clear I can say this because they still do not comprehend that the account is not deleted and I can still log in.

So we are happy to provide some additional information regarding the loan funding process.Once a ******** submits a loan request to the Marketplace, it will then need to be accepted to be funded by a ****** (a user on the app such as yourself). This time period of waiting for your loan to be accepted can vary in time. However, when a loan is accepted to be funded by a Lender and both parties agree on the terms, it takes only minutes for the funds to be deposited into the Borrower's SoLo *********** are a few points to keep in mind:1. Funding a loan request is up to the discretion of individual lending members. Borrowing members choose how much and when they pay, including if they want to add an optional tip to the lending member or donation to ****. Borrowing members have 100% optionality and control over the terms of their loan, and any amount paid in addition to the loan principal is voluntary. Electing not to tip or donate has no impact on a members ability to request a loan, nor does the **** platform give a member preferential treatment for including a tip or donation.2. You can increase your trust in the platform by paying your loans back early or on time. This will increase your SoLo Score, and will also be visible to lending members in your loan history. The higher your score, the more trust future lenders will have in you.3. Your loan will be active in the Marketplace for up to 3 days. At that time, if it remains unfunded, itll be automatically canceled. Upon cancellation, you can immediately create a new request.4. We offer a SoLo Protection Program to Lenders which provides additional protection for your investments.     This platform is a scam. I was a lender. As a lender you provide the full principal, borrowers tip to SoLo, and anything else. If the Borrower is even 1 day late SoLo takes the Lenders Tip or more and chargers the lender additional fees. Keep in mind that SoLo provided nothing at the beginning but is now charging the Lender fees for the loan as the ******** was late! They also charge the Borrower fees from what I have read. Over 1/3 seem to go into default. The whole time **** keeps offering insurance but it is only credit for their site. They are a scam charging fees on both sides and taking zero risk of their own. They set up the loan with little to no effort and then eat up every cent of that loan making it harder for the Borrower to pay back, the Lender less of a chance of receiving pay back, and if it does get paid the Lender and Borrower owe the majority to SoLo.
