      tl;dr: Elderly dog has urine scald, a skin infection & scabbing after SP staff left this thundershirt soaked in urine wrapped around his junk. Almost $300 vet bill, week of antibiotics, medicated baths, cone of shame, and an injection for him and they charged me for all of it.Boarded my 13 y/o dog with SP Doggie Land. They ignored his most basic functional needs which caused him bodily harm & no doubt emotional distress. This equates to neglect - plain and simple. Tried to amicably resolve ********* offered store credit. So not just willful negligence, but a complete lack of accountability / concern. I'm sure this will not be the last time this happens to an animal under their care.Saw on camera my dog's thundershirt came un-velcro'd from his neck & slipped down around his waist, covering his boy parts. Watched staff members walk past him multiple times without addressing it. I had to call in for them to remove it.Later got his report card - some images showed him with the thundershirt around his waist visibly soaked in urine doing an activity and some without. Photos without it show his underbelly is yellow & his fur is matted. I requested ******** & asked for any accommodation. They offered to use my accumulated points, so me paying for it in another way, but my **** was charged $60? After grooming, his fur was stained (DYED from urine) yellow & his skin was red, raw, & irritated. Took off time from work for the vet. They diagnosed urine scald, a potential skin infection, he needs 7 days of antibiotics, medicated shampoo & weekly baths, an injection to reduce the allergic ********* **** has to wear a cone until healed. We also had to test for a UTI. He's a senior dog & more susceptible to illnesses becoming life-threatening.I'm requesting they cover the vet bill ($267.75) & refund the total amount of his stay ($280, not including the accumulated points used), & the cost of a new thunder vest ($44.95). Total of $587.70
