I pay the business Caring For One Another about *** dollars a month to rent a room from them. I moved into the apartment about two years ago in May 2020. Everything was fine, until about a month later In June 2020, when the landlord ***** decided to push another tenant into my space without my permission, even though the rent is paid every month, there is no damage to the property that was done by me, and that I have been a respectful tenant. I have talked to him nicely. My associates also tried to negotiate with him, yet he always gets ****** loud and ***** Which usually includes him ******** ******* me or ***** to my associates about me. He deletes my text, and ignores the phone calls from myself and my representatives, to resolve this issue. He claims that "it's a business ", which still doesn't give him the right to treat people with such *********** He then started resorting to coercing me to pay an extra *** dollars a month (totalling **** dollars a month ************** for the exact same room that I was already occuping for *** dollars. Just so that I can occupy the same space that I have been occupying for almost two years by myself, while paying *** dollars a month extra, or **** dollars a month instead of the original *** a month. I don't even get anything extra for paying extra, I just get the right for the landlord to not harass me and badmouth me behind my back to others. PLUS these facilities are not compliant with *** ************ seeing how they also house people with disabilities and/or medical conditions. This place also has no air conditioning and countless roaches. This issue has been going on for at least the entire two years that I has resided there. All I want, is to be able to occupy the same room that I rented as per our agreement independently, without paying an extra *** dollars a month, and instead pay the same amount, that I was paying before **** dollars a month) to begin with.

I'm responding to the case ****** complained about us. First of all the complaint was false and not true. When we met with his organization I presented the letter I received form the BBB to his org and I questioned him about all of the complaints and he admitted that it was all false and untrue. Then after that we resolved it and everything is fine now Sincely, *****

I have not received any guarantee, that I can occupy my own room for the same rent that I pay now for sharing a room. Instead, the manager threatened to sue me for being concerned about my personal safety, and my personal privacy, after the last roommate I was set up with by the manager, had anger issues and was abusive on multiple occasions towards me. That being said, I do not want to be sued by the caring for one another organization. Nor do I want the manager to drag my organization into something that can easily be solved by allowing me the right to privacy and the opportunity to be and feel safe. I am not a trouble maker. I do not want anybody to get in trouble. All I want my own room for the same rent that i`m already paying for a shared room, and for my property to be protected and not thrown in the trash if I leave for a vacation or a trip.

I need my own room as i am having multiple surgeries and a roommate would get in the way. The manager of caring for one another knows this. Also there is not enough room for two people to co exist, as it is a small bedroom. I require an independent room to move around, especially to exercise my body and to continue to heal from my last surgery. Also this would be an added benefit to my mental health. I do not accept the proposed resolution, on the grounds that the manager did not put forward a resolution, but instead repeated the previous statement, that was already considered i.e calling me a liar and making claims that said complaint was false. I Do not see any logical reason why I cannot have my own room. My safety and health are more important than money.
