      They accepted my Amex online to make a reservation. I received two emails 3 days before my scheduled appointment acknowledging the reservation with the cancellation policy. When I arrived she said I had to pay in cash or debit with a pin. It was too late to cancel and they had my AMEX reservation. While waiting for a friend to arrive she decided to let me use my credit card but said they never let people use credit cards. Only cash or debit yet there is a huge Visa/Master Card sign and no mention anywhere on the website about a cash or a debit card only policy. They discriminated against me when they saw me. Unacceptable.

      Complaint Type: Customer Service Business Name: ********************** (***********, **)Date of Incident: May 3, 2025 Desired Outcome: Written apology and accountability for customer service failures Complaint Details:On May 3, 2025, I visited Spa Palace in *********** around 10:30 a.m. I briefly left my clothing (a shirt, painters pants, and sneakers) outside the locker. Later, I could not find them and asked front desk staff for help. I was told Spa Palace never moves customers items, and they refused to check laundry or assist me in any meaningful way. I was prepared to leave barefoot due to their indifference.Eventually, the clothes were foundfolded and movedproving the staffs claim was false. In the meantime, I was also told that pajamas are no longer provided, though I was wearing Spa-issued pajamas at the time. Other guests also witnessed this contradiction.I wrote a polite complaint to management. In response, I was accused of being emotionally reactive and was even vaguely accused of discriminatory behaviorsomething I never said or ********** request is simple: acknowledgment that staff mishandled the situation and a commitment to more honest, empathetic communication with customers in the future.

      Management has spoken with our cleaning staff regarding replacing or removing customer belongings. They have confirmed that they are trained not to handle personal items. It appears you moved your belongings outside the locker on your own initiative and subsequently attributed their relocation to the staff's actions. Our staff is trained to clean only dirty towels and trash; they do not touch the clients' personal belongings.Please remember that it is your sole responsibility to protect your belongings in a public accommodation. No business is liable for lost items. You ultimately found your belongings where you initially left them. I reviewed the camera footage at the front desk, which shows that a front desk staff member kindly assisted you and even called for security when you were upset. Regardless of any confusion, raising your voice and accusing someone of dishonesty is inappropriate when no one was involved.Our cleaning staff are hardworking and honest individuals. Sometimes, clients may comment based on race or nationality and try to find someone to blame for any issues that arise, which goes beyond acceptable behavior.Staff did nothing to be accused of dishonesty in handling someone's personal belongings. It is inappropriate to make comments regarding someone's race based solely on their ethnicity, especially when referring to individuals in janitorial positions, unless there is legitimate proof. We fully support all of our hardworking employees, particularly concerning matters of honesty.

      I had a great massage but the establishment MUST change their booking process and their staff for that matter. If you go here, just wait and book at the facility because if you book online they will charge you twice (once at booking in full and another time when you arrive for your service) which they do WITHOUT TELLING YOU! They say upon booking that this is a pending transaction which all card transactions are when you first swipe it, but they ABSOLUTELY NEVER once tell you that you will be charged in full at the time of your service and refunded in 5 days or the transaction will fall off in 5 days. I dont know how true this part is because Im still waiting but this is TERRIBLE service for the lack of better words. And to top it all off the receptionist argued with me about what the confirmation email said that I thoroughly read as to cover their behinds and point the finger negatively at me the consumer like I wouldnt check, double check, and triple check how my money is being deducted for a service Im paying for. They provide NO information then Blame you and get an attitude. She needs to be fired she doesnt like her job obviously and you guys need to change and or fix this problem with charging customers. Wont be back there are several other spa establishments that DO NOT exercise this horrible practice.
