    Title: Unprofessional, Dishonest, and Harmful Experience Do Not Buy from ************ I am a disabled veteran and fashion designer who ordered a Juki DDL-8700 machine and ********** from GoldStar Tool on December 20, 2024, totaling $1,350.18. When the machine was delivered on January 9, 2025, it was damaged, scratched, bent, and shipped without proper protection or a pallet. I refused the delivery, as advised by the freight driver.I immediately contacted GoldStar Tool. Instead of offering a proper replacement or refund, I was told to "just keep it" and that the issue was "only the table"which I found incredibly dismissive and disrespectful.They promised to initiate a replacement on January 10, but I never received anything. For weeks, they blamed the freight company, claiming the machine hadnt been returned. I personally called the freight company, who confirmed that the damaged machine had already been returned to GoldStar Tool.On April 14, I formally requested a refund. I followed up multiple times and was met with contradictory stories, evasive answers, and empty promises. I spoke to both **** (who supposedly handles refunds) and the owner, ***** **********. In June, I was told a check would be sent once ***** signed it. Two weeks ago, ***** claimed he mailed the checkbut I never received it.This entire ordeal has caused me serious mental and physical stress. I am a disabled veteran who enrolled in fashion school to be self-employed and care for my health. This machine was supposed to support my thesis collection and alleviate the physical strain of commuting. Instead, I was forced to work late nights at my school studiofurther harming my ********* this day, I have not received a refund, a machine, or any real accountability. They stole my money and wasted months of my time. I am unable to take client orders or properly work, and Im still recovering from the toll this situation has taken on my body.

    Please don't shop here!!!!!! BE AWARE!!!!Words can't express how disappointed I am with this business. I spent more than 6k for 3 brand new machines here and * of the machines constantly having issues that a brand new machine shouldn't have. They also over charged me and after countless phone calls they said their sale department already issued the refund. Nothing! After many more calls and emails all I have back is " I will call you back" or " don't worry I will have someone reach out to fix the problems". None of it happened, only broken promises. And of course after a while I was ghosted by them while my machines only have more problems. Imagine a H31313*343838313931H machine that just stop stitching while running, or it power and off every 5 minutes by itself, or the needle won't stop shaking. And those are only a few problems I deal with everyday since I have it. Imagine an industrial serger that can only serge * layers of thin fabric max, if thicker it will keep losing under thread. I hired my own Juki technician and guess what we found out? The machines are put together with USED parts and parts that are NOT MADE for the specific machines. My technician told me * out of my 3 "brand new" machines look like floor sample machines. Do not let the low price and free shipping fool you!!! This business is not legit and the owner is a con. STAY AWAY and please please please bring your money somewhere else to invest in good machines and honest service, DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!

    Purchased New Consew 228R-11-1. We received the machine with no instructions called Gold star tool they told us to look online. After watching many different videos on ******** we finally got the table put together and the sewing machine set up. We tried to run the machine. It wouldnt do anything. We noticed issue with the shaft being locked up we sent a video to gold star tool they told us to add oil. I knew that wasnt the issue so I took the machine 8 hours up the road to get a licensed technician to inspect the machine( Was not gold star tool tech). Discovered in fact a mechanical defect. Have paper work stating that. Called gold star tool back they told me I had to pay for shipping. We went back a forth for over a weeks time me explaining there policy to them and after trying to get in contact with who was over my account. Numerous voicemails left no call back. Because I was told no one else could help me. I was stuck, Then I was told they was gone on vacation until the next week. We finally got the call tag to ship the machine back now they are saying we intentionally damaged the machine I told them I had photo proof that the machine was not broken when we sent it. They told me I was gonna have to cover the damage cost once I explained they needed to call *** for damaged package for insurance claim. They changed whole tune on things. Now Im getting told since I want a full refund on the machine it will be a 20% restocking fee none of these policys are adding up Ive called them out on them and nothing is changing. Im only receiving one email a day from them. Ive got call records of our conversation. Also they are trying to charge me round trip shipping for $297.12 Policy clearly states customer doesnt pay shipping on defect. Also I was sent a list of missing accessories to us that we never received. We could have verified if we had the instructions with the machine. I have emails, recorded calls pictures and defective paper. Huge scam 0 stars

    Goldstar tools is a major scam!. Terrible quality tables, terrible support and flat out dishonest!We bought, through Amazon a new machine and table. While the machine itself is well made, the table construction and quality was absolutely awful. bad welds throughout, tabletop arrived with clear manufacturing s**** **** huge chips in the laminate with sloppy putty work to hide it, silk-screened metric markings are crooked and not even remotely accurate to measure off of. machine does not fit properly and required additional shimming to even remove the bobbin access plate. Foot pedal pivots are crooked and one had a completely broken weld. Motor shipped was returned for refund/credit since it was the wrong one.*****, the owner, personally assured me over the phone, they would correct the issues.I called back weeks later to see what was being done. I was referred to support. After nearly 2 weeks, We finally received a replacement foot pedal, but it was also bad quality and required bending to straighten the pivots.I had also requested from ***** on the phone to exchange the brand new still boxed up motor for the correct upgraded servo motor and needle positioner setup. He personally agreed to that and advised me to return the motor for credit/refund, which we had to pay shipping to return. He charged us full retail price for the new servo motor and needle positioner, which we received about 2 weeks later. We returned the original motor the same day we requested the replacement. We have neither received a credit, a refund, or even acknowledgement of GoldStar Tools having received our return.The new servo motor is fine, but the needle positioner unit remains unusable to this day as the installation parts they shipped were not correct and we have yet to receive any response from the company regarding the correct parts nor have we received any credit or refund. ***** will not return calls or acknowledge our continuing requests for support.
