Between June 8, 2024 to July 31, 2024.****** offered her admin services we listed the scope of work and she added to her drafted engagement letter. We originally wanted to hire her as an employee but she wanted to set her terms, hours, and freedom to be creative. since this was the case was an opportunity to showcase her work. and to no avail; the quality of an Executive Admin did not show; such as email lacking attachments, invoices covering june 31, 2024 date, and misc. errors and lack of follow through. She had an engagement letter that we did not agree to certain billing terms and practices requiring 1-month retainer to be paid ahead. We had provided $1500 in good faith as a retainer for future services. The first project was a one-time clean-up administrative work projects within seven weeks. She refused to sign our NDA letter. We refused to sign her engagement letter as we did not agree to the specific terms above such as indemnifying her of any liability for her work and safeguarding our information. Therefore our label, and consolidation of emails, and calendars have not begun. We tried to resolve, this with multiple meetings to discuss the engagement letter and she refused to adjust. I requested an account balance of retainer. She decided to change the terms so that its nonrefundable. She explained that services is like renting a wedding venue, and it is considered rendered even if we cancel. Which is not what we originally discussed. I have requested a refund since no scope of work was completed. In return for what I was asking for she required that I pay her an additional $500 to see an updated Balance statement of what the retainer was used for. After I had provided a formal termination to cease and desist as well as to stop unwanted behavior, such as contacting our third-party vendors, Defamation Slander, and libel. She continued to contact our third-party vendors and has continued to defame our staff and gaslight.
