  Have been working with these guys for about two yearscontracted to build an app. Paid over $10,000 and havent received anything, will send designs and then ask for more money to complete or add features and then nothing new happens. Now they arent answering my phone calls or emails and it has been a month and a half. They kept switching project managers(***** *****, **** ****, *** *******, *** ******, ***** ****, ******* ****** and **** to name a few) when things would get rough and each new manager would promise and give their word that it would be different but just was a constant repeat of asking for more money with no progress made. I dont like leaving reviews like this but I dont want anyone else to get scammed like I have. I would love to have website design engine contact me again and finish the project Ive paid for, so I can remove this review but until then, buyer beware because you will just lose your money and time with these guys. Will be leaving reviews everywhere and reporting to *** shortly and hopefully get this shut scam shut down. Best of luck to any of you who read this.

  I had hired website design engine to build my website, customizer, order management, and video ads, but they turned out to be scammers. They never completed my project and kept lying to me. They built an initial website to deceive me that they were working on it. After that, they started selling me more services like purchasing dedicated hosting. Once I paid for that, they started blackmailing me to purchase *** security, otherwise, they would not finish my project. So I was forced to purchase the *** security plugin. They were supposed to complete my project within 6 weeks but after waiting for 6 months, I contacted another company. The manager of this company texted me and warned me that if I started working with someone else, they would not complete my project, and I would lose my money. I think they hacked my system or phone because they knew I was talking to someone else. Every month they changed my project manager, and I had to explain my project from scratch again. They were just wasting my time so that I couldn't dispute my transaction since you can't file a dispute after 6 months. It's been ******************************************************************* They never gave me ownership of the website or hosting which I paid for. Now they have stopped answering my emails, texts, or phone calls. They have lied about their office address. I think they are outside the ***, and they probably tell you fake names too. Here are the names of the scammers: ***************************, *******************, *********************, *******************, ****, *******************, and *************************. I am writing this review to save others from making the same mistake as me. Please stay away from these scammers.

  I contacted Website Design Engine with five pages of a website that had already been professionally made by a different company. I was happy with my existing website but needed it to have features that the previous developers did not do. I spoke to Website Design Engine and they gave me a fair price after thoroughly asking me questions about what my website entailed. They explained they did not have a payment plan option but that I could pay $2,100 and then later the additional $1,000. I was told they could not use my existing site as it was considered plagiarism. They began making a new site and it was riddled with grammatical and spelling errors but most importantly there a complete misunderstanding about the purpose of my business. I had to comb through line by line and make edits on their plagiarism free content for which I paid $1,000. That fee was in addition to the $3,100. I was also asked to pay $1,000 for a platform upgrade and $1,500 for six months of SEO. I was asked to pay $2,000 for security and $670 for recaptcha. They also purchased a plug in for my site that theyre claiming is non-refundable for $2,499. This is a large sum of money. The trick is I literally only knew about the original $3,100 upfront. Theyll request zoom calls and phone calls to provide you with more updates during which theyll ask for more money. There are several names that claim to be from different departments. Im inclined to believe the positive ******** reviews are fake.

  Run from this company! They are out here scamming customers. When I first contacted them they wanted me to make a payment 1st without consultation for the site I wanted them to build. They never provided me with any contract nor any policy. They charge 650 additional on top of the actual price of the building cost for the site. You can get way better service from Wix or Wordpress. They are unprofessional, if you are a female customer they will flirt with you by calling you sweety, doll face and other names. Please do NOT waste your money. You rather take your money and have business with reputable legit companies. They are not trust worthy and all they do is ask for more money. All though their company is registered in CA but employees are all offshore.

  I have paid ***** and have been working with them since the beginning of July. They have made zero changes to my website. I have sent multiple detailed changes I wanted made. They have done nothing. Do not give these people your money.

  0 stars!!!! Unfortunately, I am required to give at least one star.... Don't work with this company! Literally the worst experience of my life working with another business. They are not competent in anything from design to dev to transparency to being timely for a meeting to being timely on delivery to completing edits which are in fact errors on their part.... I met with them for countless hours numerable times to get website edits done and after 1 month plus they are still not capable of finishing it. They tell me it has been completed, and we get on a zoom call and it's laughable, let's just say that... They are terrible.... I have yet to receive my project and I have a feeling I will have to demand a full refund bc they will not be able to deliver. If you get a website from them, they will try to upcharge you 600$ telling you that you need to pay this to be on a particular server. DONT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. THIS IS A WARNING. UNLESS YOU LOVE TO THROW MONEY AWAY AND DEAL WITH INCOMPETENT PEOPLE, LEAVE THEIR WEBSITE NOW.

  This company has taken 5 months to produce very little. They have taken $4,000 and not finished the website and now want to call it live. I cannot give them even one star. They constantly change Program Managers and give excuses, (that are lies) as to why. They asked to go live and nothing on the website worked. They are constantly asking for more money and never deliver. I would never do business with them again.

  The absolute worst web design company on the internet. They scammed me and other clients and are holding their domain hostage for $3,000. Please if you are looking to get a website made make sure YOU purchase the domain! Others have also reported the costs never stops, they keep asking you for more and more money while building a template for you and never can show any updates of anything. Very unprofessional on the phone and terrible support included.
