June of this year I hired two contractors to install foam insulation in my condo to cool it down with the add warming. My condo has a steel roof with minimum insulation. On sunny days it gets pretty hot inside.

I used most of my life savings for this project total of 33,293.58 Including the cost of my staying at motel 6 (12 days) 1888.64, renting a pod to move most of my stuff out of the house 704.94 And the cost to repaint my condo 3500.00, Something I had not planned for. Gary’s team (broken drum insulation, Santa Barbara) Left black handprints and one hole on my living room wall after installing the foam insulation, therefore I had to repaint my walls.

Everybody said that my condo was going to be cooler with this insulation but it’s not. It is always hotter inside my condo than outside temperature. Now it holds heat and doesn’t cool down even at night when I open doors and windows. Now I have to run my air conditioner and ceiling fans about 90% of the time just to be comfortable.

The new normal inside temperature is 78 degrees to 80 degrees even at night, even at
midnight and still at 3:00 AM. This is not good for sleeping and I keep sweating a lot at night. Contractor #1 (Joseph Lahud) Who I hired to do the framing and drywall after the foam insulation was installed mentioned after I was concerned about the temperature of the inside of my house that Gary with broken drum insulation should have asked how much insulation was in the condo walls. I know there’s no insulation in the walls, if I had known I would have stopped the project before it had started. I don’t think I should have to suffer because Gary forgot to ask about the insulation in the walls.

My electric bills for 100 dollars that I was trying to improve now I’ll bound to go up probably double.

Gary offered to bring me a fan to help cool the house down. I have enough ceiling fans in the house and it's not doing any good cooling the place down plus my electric bill is rocketing since I have to keep them on the whole time.

I have not heard from Gary since I sent him a letter couple of weeks ago asking if he has insurance to cover this kind of problem and ask him if he has ever had this problem before in his 30 years’ experience.

He is hard to contact. He states he doesn’t have an e-mail address so I can't text him. I have limited phone service (to save money) No cell phones, I don’t have service in his area. The whole project was so that I could have a place that I could afford to live in cool for the rest of my life, but it’s not. I am handicapped, old disabled and would appreciate all the help you can offer.
