On Wednesday March 27th around 10am, I entered Bills Quick Stop to order two carne asada burritos. The burritos are $12.00 each. I asked rhe clerk how much is the bottled 1 liter soft drink Diet Pepsi. He said $2.99. I paid with my debit and the total was $32.55. I asked why is the total $32.55 if the burritos are $1200 each. Thats $24.00+tax (7.5% in my area) totaling $25.80. The 1 liter soft drink was 2.99+tax and CRV totaling $3.26. $25.80+$3.26+.81 cent debit fee TOTAL $29.87 My receipt was $32.55 This is the second time I have been over charged by the same clerk. Also keep in mind that they do not have a scanner to scan any item in the store. They manually enter pricea on the register so they are able to manipulate prices. The other complaint is that in the image I uploaded, the clerk **** a line where I, the customer is supposed to sign. He has to right to draw a line as a customer signature and hand it to me. I asked for an itemized receipt but would not give me one and only gave me the debit reciept. The debit receipt does not show the cost of the beverage or the burritos. I believe this store and the store clerk have been cheating customers for a very long time manually fabricating prices for gain. Please call or email me regarding my complaint and/or direct me to the correct agency in charge of fraudulent store operations. Thank you.PS- Down below there is several optuons to choose from but can only enter one. I would like to have the store explain the charges and be investigated because there has been several people who have complaint in the past about charges and prices for store items. Second store phone number on receipt.

    Business Response

First off I want to apologize for any misunderstanding, We have been a neighborhood store for over 30 years and take pride in providing great customer service. Some of my employees aren't fluent in English so I believe there was some miss communication regarding our prices. We have all of our prices posted instore and even online for our customers. Our burritos have been $12.99 plus tax for about 3 years now. Also We've had scanners in our store for around 6 years so that we can avoid these issues. We have never tried to overcharge our customers and have always took pride in our customer satisfaction.

    Sincerely

I am rejecting this response because:

So if the burritos are 12.99+tax and the soda was 2.99+tax and the administration fee is .81 cents, that still does not add up to $34.36.   12.99 x 2= ***** + 2.99 = ***** + .81 (admin fee) = $29.78.  This amount of $29.78 is before taxes.  My debit charge is $34.36 - $29.78 = $4.58.  So my total includes $4.58 in  tax?  What else was i charged for? I asked the clerk to give me an itemized receipt and he would not give me one.
