    horrible They walk all over tenants, costing them money and threatening to kick them out. Its just horrible

    My family and I rented a property managed by Lionel ******************** of ******************************************* for the last two years, and we had a fantastic customer experience. ****** was always quick to respond to our needs and questions, and was delightful to interact with. When we had a maintenance issue at the house, ****** and his team were attentive and quick to resolve it. We highly recommend this business for prospective property management clients and future tenants!

    ************** moved in a few months ago and am really enjoying this building. The manager ****** is on top of things. Any issues he handles. The building is so clean. I've had the pleasure of working with ****** on a couple different property listings, knowledge and communication skills. All of the properties I have are impressed and happy with the outcome.of my new place. ****************** are kind, courteous and always a pleasure to work with both. I would highly recommend ************************************************************* to close friends and family any day!

    ECHOING THE BELOW!! This company is run, ironically, by a pastor.... and he treats people like Satan. I can't say to much to or they will know my identity but let's just say they made mistakes at the property that cost the tenant money, they threatened to kick tenants out by saying they weren't using the premises correctly, they allow illegal uses of the property by ownership that costs the tenant money, and they illegally conduct repairs on the property by not reimbursing the tenant for the lost space. When you don't have a kitchen for 3 months, over the course of Christmas, you are supposed to carve out that square footage from the rent since the tenant can't access or use that space. Honestly it's common decency.... In all my life renting, I have never felt so helpless and wronged. Someone needs to *** these people and shake some legality into them. They walk all over tenants, costing them money and threatening to kick them out. Its just horrible. Similar to the below, they are unresponsive, the lease is barely English (although as tenants we have no right to negotiate in the market right now) and I agree, anyone who uses them must be slumlord. I cannot imagine a decent human being who allow the behavior by barshay peters to happen to its tenants.

    There isnt a zero on this page and there are no other places that Barshay allows for review, so I am with ************ These guys are slimes, unethical, unprofessional and un responsive. Any landlord that puts property with them are categorically slumlords. RENTER BEWARE!!! DO NOT DO IT.

    Renters beware - I was a renter in good standing with ******************************************* in 2022 and the way they handled the end of the lease was classless.They did not provide me any information about my options for renewal or move out. I contacted them multiple times to find out my options and they did not respond. Only once I notified them of my intent to vacate did they respond, rudely, that they "don't have time for me". They told the rental agreement detailed the renewal policy - it did not.I finally vacated on their terms and they did not send me back my deposit within the lawful 21 day requirement. Their excuse was "they were short on cash". They finally sent me a check once I threatened to bring them to small claims court.I've been a renter for 14 years and never had an experience like this.
