      I had purchased a pair of shoes online on 9/29/23 for a total of $56.71 which includes shipping. I then decided against them & returned them to a local Skechers retail store . When I got home I realized that my refund did not include the sales tax that I had paid which was $3.21. I called the ************* clerk spoke to manager who said because I ordered them online while I was in a different state I wasn't entitled to it. I ordered them while in Virginia but returned them to a store in **. That made no sense to me so I contacted customer service on 11/1. I was told to forward my receipt which i did & it would be forwarded to the district manager of the store. I should hear back within ***** hours. Never heard back. I called customer service again on 11/10, & rep agreed I was entitled to my sales tax & was supposed to hear back from district manager.Never heard back. I called a third time on 11/16 & asked to speak to a supervisor. They were all busy so I was told one would call me back by end of day. Never got a call back.I know it's not a lot of money but I feel I am entitled to the full price that I paid which includes the sales tax. Skechers customer service is a joke. They obviously don't care. I would like this resolved.

      I purchased Sketchers Mens ****** Shoes on 5/10/2023. Less than 6 months later they are coming apart in the back heal. I have been going back and forth with customer support on ******* and email for weeks. I have supplied details, many pictures and it was told to me that there is a quality guarantee with sketchers. Now after weeks of back and forth they want me to ship the shoes to them and wait to see if they are deemed defective. I wear these daily for work. Even though they are falling apart I still need to wear them as I do not have any other work shoes which is why I was looking for help with a replacement. This seems to be a long drawn out process with the hopes I give up.

      I am a full time caregiver. I am always looking for comfortable shoes as I am on my feet all day. I saw a pair of slip-on shoes advertised and thought I would try them. I went to a retail store at ******************************************************************* on Nov. 1, 2023. I bought the shoes I was looking for. I bought the shoes on a Wednesday, and wore them for the only time on Friday Nov. 3. After wearing the shoes for a few hours, my toe started to hurt and by the time I got home that afternoon, I had a red sore spot on my toe on my right foot. I went on Sunday Nov. 5 to return the shoes and was told because I had worn them I could not return them. I could get a store credit. These shoes cost me $68.00 after I signed up for a New member discount of 10%. I certainly am not going to wear this brand if they hurt my feet. A store credit would do me no good. It literally says on my receipt At Skechers-we guarantee 100% satisfaction on any item purchased. It only tells you on-line that if shoes are worn, you cannot return them. How would someone know that the shoes hurt your feet unless you wore them? I have bought shoes at other stores-Kohls, Macys and never had issues with returns even if they were worn. I wore the shoes from Skechers mostly inside. It was only from the house to the car and back that the shoes had exposure to outside.I was referred to Skechers corporate-I called and spoke with a customer service rep named ********. She was rude and when I asked to speak to a manager she literally told me on a recorded line that there was no manager in the building to speak with me. The call was recorded I encourage someone to listen to it. I then sent an email on Monday Nov 6 asking for a call back from a manager regarding the situation and to date, I have received no contact from Skechers at all. I want a full refund and promise to never purchase another Skechers product again.

      As explained in our email communication to you, your shoes are no longer manufactured by our company as they have been discontinued for some time. We do not offer replacements for this style as they would have been made and/or purchased more than a few years ago. Our quality assurance policy offers replacements of shoes up to 2 years old. We have offered a 50% discount code to try a new style on Skechers.com and our offer has not been acknowledged.

      On 8/20/23 I purchased two pairs of shoes at Store *****. I wore one of the pairs to a concert later that night. Not only did they give me blisters, but the bottoms of the shoes started peeling in those few short hours. While the store was able to refund the unworn pair, they recommended I call Sketchers customer support about the defective pair. I left a voicemail message, but any follow-up call that *** have happened did not result in a voicemail, email, or text. I request back the $44.99 billed to my **** ending in ****. If pictures of the soles are needed, I can provide those.The shoes were 136530/BBK On-the-Go Flex Cherished Black Womens Size 9.5.

      3 months ago i purchased a pair of mens extra wide slip ins. a week ago the top part of the shoe came apart at the top front. it is easy to see the defect. skechers had me send 4 photos which i did. a week later they wanted another photo of the tag inside which shows the were made in january 2023 A blind person could tell they were defective. They then wanted me to send them in for inspection and told me could take a month. they are just giving me the run around and never will do the right thing. they offered a generous 35% discount to buy another pair. joke of a desired resolution. I have 3 other pair of skechers and my wife has 2 pair. very disappointed in there service and they will not talk to me on the phone to anyone past a receptonest.*****************************

If the shoe in question was purchased from another retailer we first identify if it's eligible for return and if it is, we then inspect the shoe and send a replacement pair if it's deemed defective.

      A purchased a pair of those easy slip-on shoes from Skechers website and once I got them I put them on and walked around my apartment for a couple of hours and once I was standing up I kept losing my balance. It was easy to see the shoes were not a good fit so I returned them to skechers. All of a sudden they're telling me I wore the shoes and yes I wore the shoes but not outside. It was just a short amount of time when I discovered they weren't going to work for me so I'll put them back in the box that they came in and I put them back in that box they came in and I shipped them back. Now they're telling me I wore the shoes, which of course I did how would I know they wouldn't fit, and they refused to give my $125 back to me in the same manner that I paid for it. They claimed there was a e-gift card somewhere and there isn't but I would not buy another pair of shoes from Skechers since my podiatrist told me they are the worst shoes in the world anybody could wear. I kept trying and trying by email to get my money back and they absolutely refuse. I want my $125 back.

      I purchased 2 pairs of the same exact slip on shoes. Rare to find my size and in a nice style. I bought them in Long Island at a store which I later found out was closing. I tried the first pair and within a few days I was walking and tripped on a seam in a sidewalk and it ripped the sole off completely! Figures it was my fault was not careful. I tossed them and took out the new ones which I wore for about a.month and the soles on both came apart where the foam meets the treads. I called the store.******* told to send them and did. I did not hear back for a couple weeks and called. I was informed that the stores going out of business and they couldn't do anything and they were going to send them back which they did. I then tried contacting Skechers and after multiple emails and submitting pictures and information I was told they could not help me but they offer me 35% off my next pair. Which is horrible consolation when you spend almost $200 on compared to shoes that don't last a month and a half total people. I would like to replacement pairs of the same or better shoes with the soles are not going to fall off. This is ridiculous and I feel like I am being abused. Money does not grow on trees and having them say oh well here's 35% off your next was offensive. I told him to resolve it I would be contacting The better Business bureau and that is what I'm doing now. I'm very not happy. I tried gluing the soles back on the second set but despite my best effort they look like junk, I did not pay $200 for junk (plus paid $20 to ship back!). Again I would like to good pairs of shoes that are not going to fall apart in delaminate with some kind of a warranty. I also have copies of all the emails and interactions with Skechers.

We accept items with a quality concern that have been purchased within the last 1-2 years with a receipt for return and inspection. If there is no receipt present, we rely on the factory date of the shoes. In your case the shoes have a factory date of 2011 and a receipt was not provided.       I Have no idea when these shoes were manufactured. I bought them from a shoe store in Long Island. I purchased them less than 1 year ago as the receipt provided to you (Skechers) stated when inspoke to customer service. Also as stated to thee people and customer service The shoes were still in brand new condition until the first I had the heel peel off and the second set basically did the same and I tried to glue them back on as you can see the tread has nowhere on them.  They were not worn. These shoes were not purchased at a welfare office or salvation army. Honestly I do not think that you plan on doing anything would that being said this is your opportunity to do something If not I will do what I have to do accordingly. It is absolutely disgusting that after all the interactions with your customer support providing all the information and taking multiple pictures and re-explain the situation I was told golly we're going to give you a tiny discount to insult you further even though we know you just paid over $200 for these. I don't care if they were manufactured in ********************************************************************************************************************** two new pairs as a Goodwill gesture. Not enrage the customer and insult them with ridiculous offers. I really have no faith in Skechers especially after reading other reviews of the shoes. I wish I would have known this before I bought them. So this is your reply You can man up and send me two new pairs of shoes or you can just say we don't care and I will respond accordingly. But I can assure you no matter what the outcome I would never ever buy another set of skecher shoes nore for my children. These are the worst shoes I've ever owned and that goes back to the days of Woolworths when I used to buy shoes for $4 a pair.

      I am rejecting this response because: you were provided the original receipt nearly a year ago to the ********** location as requested. I was sent a negative response and told I could have 20% off on next purchase. So basically your company did nothing. I can get 20% off.any day just going online and giving me email gives 20% off. Skecy is not customer service oriented company. So I do not have the receipt any longer, your ********** location does. They told me s**** me a half year ago. Not happy, being.underappreciated and people dragging their feet and ignoring customers. I used to believe Skechers were the best, now I know the truth.

      On July 13 I ordered a pair of shoes from skechers.com. Order number ********. On October 10 the soles came unglued from the shoes.On October 11 I called, told them I had only worn them for a few weeks (I had been sick in hospital) and was sent a return shipping label.On October 20 they emailed to say they received the shoes, they were defective and they would issue me a gift card.I replied to the email saying I did not want a gift card, I wanted my money back.They said they can't give me my money back directly because the shoes were worn. But I can have a gift card to buy another pair.I don't want another pair of defective shoes. I certainly wouldn't gift them to another.After 6 phone calls with customer service reps who lie (tell me I will be getting a refund, that I will get a call back, etc) I don't ever want to do business with Skechers again. And finally, when the Rep tells me I'm right that the merchandise was overpriced and defective yet I have no right to a refund, I want to make sure every other consumer on Earth BEWARES their defective merchandise and defective attitude.I just want my $57.79 in US currency.Thank You.
