cover letter On 2/13/24 I purchased 2 programs from University of Options. one was an options program for $6600 and the second was a bot for $3400. After having the options programs for less then 90 days I was unhappy with the results that was promised. So I asked for a refund and was granted the refund. In that same time frame I had the bot and it did not perform as promised so I asked for a refund. My *** ***** ***** express that would not be a problem. So I request a refund and ***** said at this time that ***(owner) was introducing a new program(***licator) to help with the losses that everyone had with the bots. But he said to get the discounted price of $4000 for the ***licator that you could not get a refund for the bot at this time. So i purchased the ***licator on 8/13/24. At this time the program was not up and running. They were still developing it and we were asked to be patient. Fast forward to 3/13/25 yes 7 months later and the program was launched. During this time there was still problems and programming that had to be done to fix all the problems. So with fustrations and disappointment I asked for a refund. ***** ***** my *** said I had to contact *** or *****. So I did. They sent me a link to fill out and I did and it was denied because they said the 90 days had expired. 1. when I bought the ***licator there was no agreement sent or signed 2. the agreement for the ***licator was not sent out until after the launch in 3/25. I did not signed the agreement until 3/20/25. I have proof of this. Will forward it 3. So if you look at the date of the signed agreement. I am well with in the 90 Days 4. I am asking for a refund of $3400 for the bot and $4000 for the ***licator. Totaling $7400.5. There are several other members that had similar issues in getting a refund.6.

    Business Response

    Date: 06/04/2025

Dear BBB and Mr. ****** ****,
We are writing in response to Complaint ID: ********, filed by Mr. ****** **** regarding his purchases from University of Options. We have thoroughly reviewed Mr. ****** concerns.
Mr. **** made two purchases relevant to this complaint: a bot program on February 13, 2024, for $3400" and the replicator"program on August 13,  2024, for $4000. He is requesting a total refund of $7400 for these two programs. We also note Mr. ********** statement that an options program purchased on February 13, 2024, was previously refunded and was within our 90-day window.

Our company policy clearly states a 90-day period for refund eligibility, calculated from the date of purchase. This policy, along with our comprehensive terms and conditions, are well-drafted and are provided to all clients. Crucially, clients must review and agree to these terms and conditions prior to us concluding any sale. This ensures transparency and mutual understanding of our service terms.
Regarding the bot program purchased on February 13, 2024, the 90-day refund period expired in mid-May 2024.

Mr. **** mentions that he was initially told a refund for the bot "would not be a problem," but was later informed by his representative, ***** *****, that to receive a discounted price for the new replicator program, he "could not get a refund for the bot at this time".  While we acknowledge these discussions may have occurred, any decision by Mr. **** to forgo an immediate refund request for the bot program in favor of a discount on a subsequent purchase does not alter or extend the original 90-day refund window for the bot program. The refund period for the bot program has, therefore, lapsed.

Concerning the replicator program purchased on August 13, 2024, the 90-day refund period for this program concluded in mid-November 2024. Mr. ***** refund request, made in March 2025 is significantly outside this 90-day eligibility window.

Mr. **** asserts that "when I bought the replicator there was no agreement sent or signed" and that an agreement was only provided after the launch and signed by him on March 20, 2025. This statement is contrary to our established and mandatory sales procedure. As stated, all clients must agree to our terms and conditions, which explicitly include the 90-day refund policy, before any sale is finalized for any program, including the replicator.

The 90-day refund period commences from the actual date of purchase (August 13, 2024), not from any date a client might subsequently claim to have signed or received a document. The development timeline or launch date of a program also does not alter the refund policy, which is consistently tied to the purchase date.
    While we regret any dissatisfaction

Mr. **** may have experienced if the programs did not meet his expectations, the bottom line is that our refund policy is clearly defined with a 90-day period from the date of purchase. As both the bot program and the replicator program purchases are now well beyond their respective 90-day refund eligibility periods, and given that the terms and conditions were agreed to prior to purchase, we must respectfully decline the refund request for $7400.
    Sincerely,
    University of Options
