    in late October 2022. I met with a woman and she came to my home took measurements asked for 50% deposit she said the cabinets would be installed the last week of November. I have called them several times they will not call me back. I just learned the property building where they are located is for sale. I left several messages the last one I explained that I would be contacting you. I cant believe they are doing this to me. I hope you can help me. Thank you so much!

    On April 10, 2021 (yes 2021) We contracted with Karmichael's Cabinetry to do a custom remodeling of our kitchen for a total (all inclusive) cost of $14,991. We were subsequently given a multitude of excuses for why the project couldn't be started. We ended up accommodating Karmichael's repetitive requests for more time until early June 2022 (yes 2022). We were then told that the cost originally agreed upon "could no longer be honored" due to material costs having gone up significantly. We were then given a revised estimate of $25,000 which would be way beyond our budget. Given the breach of contract, we've asked Karmichael's for a full and immediate refund of our deposit of $7,495 (cashed on 4/22/21) but have yet to receive resolution. Karmichael's has informed us that they're currently having some operational issues and would need more time before we can receive a refund of our deposit. Needless to say, this has been a severely negative, painful, and damaging experience and continues to remain so. All we're asking for is for Karmichael's to be ethical and return our deposit after 14 months of inaction and offering nothing but excuses.

    A full refund was mailed out on 7/11/2022, due to price increases and supply chain issues coupled with constant employee issues due to covid illnesses, and a price increase of over 40%  for materials, we were no longer able to move forward with this project at its originally quoted price. Unfortunately the client is unable to deal with the price increase. A full refund was sent out as stated.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 175***57, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  However, I would have expected the payment to have been sent via FedEx or overnight delivery.  As of today (7/15), we have not yet received the check.  This is somewhat concerning.  Thank you!
