    Be careful booking a birthday party here. They will double book your time and give priority to the party that allegedly books first without telling you until the day of your event. This location can only seat 35 painters and booked 2 parties with over 24 children. My 3-5 year old guests required an adult to assist and we could not fit inside the venue since the other large party was given priority. We were then forced to move away from the one outdoor table owned by Color Me Mine, as the other party was also given priority reservations of that table for food, so we scrambled to put together tables and chairs owned by the center outside to make it work. Instead of providing an acceptable resolution, the manager claimed we "preferred" to sit outside and lied to us that parties are treated on a first come, first serve basis. We arrived first and were left outside while the other party's host was able to block off a majority of the venue. While we were offered a refund, my 5 year old and all her friends projects will be thrown away. The managers claims we voluntarily chose to sit outside, however, this is a lie as we arrived first and I can assure I never requested to sit on chairs and tables outside the neighboring restaurant that were not even owned or properly serviced by Color Me Mine. We did not resist the poor treatment or make a scene, as we are professional and did not want to take our frustrations out on the staff when it was not their fault. Further, as soon as the staff arrived, the staff clearly communicated to us and the other party that the other party was going to be given priority due to allegedly booking first. When the staff called to confirm our details 2 days before the event, they mentioned the other party and I was shocked there was another large party given how small the venue is, and the staff member agreed the venue should not have done that. Save your money and the hassle and choose another location! Unfortunate that I cannot give 0 stars.

    We are reaching out in response to a complaint filed by ********, who is known by different names on social media, regarding her experience at Color Me Mine Mission Viejo. We take customer feedback very seriously and would like to clarify the circumstances surrounding this situation.


    The customer has claimed that our facility did not provide adequate space for her party. However, we possess video footage and photographic evidence indicating that, while another group utilized a small section of our studio, the opposite side was completely vacant. Additionally, the customer and her party arrived 30 minutes prior to their scheduled time and opted to paint and eat outside, which was their choice.


    Regrettably, the customer has altered her account of the events multiple times and appears to present what we consider "alternative facts." It seems that she is difficult to satisfy, as she has made several conflicting statements about her experience. As a gesture of goodwill, we offered her a full refund, which she accepted in writing. It is also significant to mention that she did not pay for additional painters beyond her initial reservation and left without settling that balance.


    This situation has caused considerable disruption to our business operations. It is troubling that a group of 11 would utilize our services and only pay for a fraction of the total bill. Her actions have wasted our time and resulted in pottential lost business, as we could have served other customers during that period.


    Our staff is dedicated to providing exceptional service to all guests, and it is disheartening to face a customer who disregards everything and shows disrespect toward our team. We have never faced a situation like this, where a customer alters their narrative to support unfounded allegations.


    We appreciate the opportunity to share our perspective and remain committed to ensuring a positive experience for all our customers.
