      I inquired about fixing my water heater lighter since it was not staying lit. I was not able to meet them during their initial visit for an estimate, but before I left for work I checked on the water heater to make sure it was not working and did not see any other issues. When Plumbing Solutions called me about my estimate, they said my water heater was leaking, I would need a new one and quoted me $2500. I found this timing to be suspicious since I inspected the heater a few hours earlier and it was not leaking. They also tried to convince me my heater was installed in 2014 and out of manufacture warranty, when I confirmed through the manufacturer that it was installed in 2017 and still under warranty. I waited a day to see if the "heater leak" had grown, and I did not see any further leakage and the area had dried around the water heater. I am not sure how the area around the water heater got a puddle around it when Plumbing Solutions came to look at it.
