      I had an appointment with Dr. ******** today at 10 oclock. Mindful Health Solutions didnt send me a link nor did they answer the phone and now theywanna charge me for a no-show appointment.

      On 10/21/24 I spoke to a Mindful Health Solutions employee who wanted to schedule me for an appointment to talk to their doctor on the 10/28/24. I had been in contact with them for months, but hesitated to get an appointment because they wanted to use my ********************** and ****** did not want to cover the appointment or TMS treatment. Throughout this time I made it clear that I wanted to use my ****************** to cover the appointment and my treatment, but only when I talked to an employee on the 21st did I get confirmation that in ********** I could use my ******************, without ******, to cover the appointment and treatment. These phone calls are recorded with *** which should be clear I wanted this appointment and treatment covered by ******** only. I agreed to see their psychiatrist on the 28th under these conditions and they insisted that I would be covered for this appointment, would only have to pay a copay and that my treatment would be covered completely. On December 23rd I received a call from them stating that ******** would not cover my treatment and I would need to contact ******** patient services and request a referral. I believe that they knew all along that they would not accept ******** for coverage of my treatment and that they bait and switched me to at least get one payment out of me and wanted a higher insurance payout from ******. I think that if I couldn't get member services to sign a referral that this one co-payment for seeing their psychiatrist was at least one way to obtain some money out of me and that they are taking advantage of people suffering from mental health problems, like myself, that are not likely to stand up for themselves because of taxing mental health issues. I would never have agreed to see their psychiatrist if ******** would not cover my treatment, there is no point when I have a psychiatrist already. I'm seeking this copayment of ***** to be dropped on account of these predatory tactics.

      I am reporting this clinic for denying me timely and adequate care. For outpatient mental health services, they allowed uninformed receptionists, a medical director, director of operations, and even general counsel herself - none of whom were knowledgeable about basic travel regulations for medications - to ******** information related to my issue and offered me gross misinformation. All of them admitted to being uninformed, and refused to listen when I provided information that was offered on an official government page regarding regulations on a medication I wished to take on an international trip. The information I offered turned out to be correct, but by then they had dragged the situation out so long (having fought me and ignored my messages, "resolved" online portal conversations to stop communications from me despite the situation remaining unresolved) that now it is impossible to procure the legal alternative medication they were meant to prescribe to me. They cited a "certification" which was not actually required for this prescription and claimed they had no "Certified Medical Doctor" available to offer it to me. They made me speak to general counsel, I believe either for fear of litigation or to intimidate me - she admitted to being less knowledgeable than other staff and admitted it was legal and possible to follow the steps I had outlined, though there were now delays caused by their team. ** claimed she would "do what she could" in the days before my trip. When I calmly asked her to clarify what she meant, she became very aggressive and hostile and implied I was wasting her time on the phone. She refused to clarify the next steps she would take to resolve this issue. When I asked for a written apology to document this encounter properly she said it sounded like I was threatening her. I believe they will retaliate if not directly, then in the form of even more medical neglect, and I have been denied timely, adequate, and humane care.
