    On Thursday November 9th 2023 I was tracking a package destined for delivery to The UPS Store on Orangeburg avenue.I am a premium *** my choice member because it's important that I get accurate delivery information for my shipments. I was tracking my delivery all day while at work and was notified the package was delivered and available for pickup both through the *** website and through Amazon from where I ordered the product.I decided to pick up the item after work and called my daycare to extend my daycare hours one extra hour. This cost me an extra $80 for the two of my children to be taken care of for the extended length of time it took me to get home on this day. I stopped at the UPS store to pick up my package.I was greeted by ***** who took my tracking number and went to the back to look for my shipment. She stumbled through a pile of other people's items and came back to let me know that the package was not delivered. Her explanation was insufficient and made absolutely no sense. She informed me that the entire process of tracking was inaccurate and that at the very last step there was a delay in updating of the website. This was just a store employee who told me that the entire website and all of the logistics surrounding the delivery of this package were inaccurate. I pay extra to *** to make sure I get accurate tracking information so I don't waste time and take extra trips that cost me a lot of money, today it wasn't worth it.She explained that it must have been human error and the driver scanned the package as delivered but did not actually deliver the package. I spoke with manager ***************************** who also said the website and *** app were inaccurate, he did not have an explanation as to why the Amazon website was also saying my package was delivered. He was no help.I now have to open a claim with the shipper and *** and I've wasted many hours. Terrible employees at the Orangeburg Ave location. I've canceled my *** membership.
