      01-20-23 Contract for engraved Memorial bench and delivery to Acacia cemetary.Downpayment ******** Balance due on delivery of completed product ********.Due to covid and supplier problems as of 11-28-2023 business was still unable to give an expected delivery date and has stopped responding. No further response, refund, or product received as of todays date.Acceptable resolution would be refund of ******** or delivery of completed, reviewed and approved contracted product, to Acacia cemetary in exchange for the balance due on the contract.

      The business has stopped communicating with me as a customer shut down their phone lines and is not responding to emails. Ive paid a $1400 deposit and they have the headstone provided to our family from the VA as our past family member was a service member and a veteran. I am unable to get a hold of the company. I am unable to get the stone back that is ours from the VA and I would like a deposit back because they have not completed the job and I am unable to get a hold of them. It seems as though the business just abruptly shut down.

      On 6/2/23 I purchased in full for a headstone to be completed in 6 months. I asked to please keep me updated on the status, they said they would, but they never did. I had to keep texting and calling them. Sometimes they wouldn't answer for days. They would only respond after I threatened that I wanted a refund. He, **** the owner, kept giving different excuses on why the headstone was delayed. First it was back ordered in *****, then it was held up at Customs at the ***************. Then his wife was sick, cancer. And all that time in between all I asked was just to update me a call even a text like before he said he would. And like before he wouldn't update any of us. I finally told him if he can't complete the job because of his wife's illness to please refund me. He then again said, no to give him a chance to complete the job and he'd also give me updates, he never did. So after awhile, I decided to pay him a surprise visit on 1/31/24, well the business was closed up, no one in sight and his phone had been disconnected. I posted a letter to Cornerstone on an outside wooden post saying to refund me and to call me ASAP. 3 days later we passed by his business again, and someone took the letter, but no one ever call or texted us. On various website, wish I would have checked before doing business with him, many people have complained about his business. He's literally robbed people of their money and never gave them headstones. He never return phone calls or texts. All I want now is the $3,729.56 for the check I wrote out to Cornerstone Monument Company on 6/2/23, which he had no problem cashing the check that very same day. He needs to be stopped and face justice. He cannot be allowed to steal from vulnerable persons in mourning. Please help me and my family we are heartbroken.
