I had my solar panels installed by Honey's Air and Solar a few years ago, and initially, the experience seemed positive. However, I’m now facing a serious issue: several of the inverters have failed, and when I reached out to Honey's for support, I was told that it’s not their responsibility because the manufacturer, SunPower, went bankrupt.
This response is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I didn’t purchase the system from SunPower—I purchased it from Honey’s Air and Solar. They recommended and sold me this system, and now that it’s failing just a few years later, they are refusing to take ownership or help resolve the issue.
I trusted this company to provide a reliable product and stand behind their work. Instead, I feel abandoned as a customer. This kind of service completely undermines any confidence I had in their business.
Buyers beware: If something goes wrong with your system down the line, you may be left on your own—even if you spent thousands with this company. I regret choosing Honey's Air and Solar and would not recommend them to others based on this experience.

Good afternoon, we appreciate your concern and understand the frustration. When we installed your system in 2016, we had no way of knowing that this was going to happen. Unfortunately at this point we do have to wait to see what the outcome is with the Sunpower bankruptcy. We will stand behind the labor portion of the warranty, but for the parts, we do need to work with the bankruptcy courts to see how they will handle their side of the warranty process. As soon as we have an update on how they will handle them, we would be happy to take care of any outstanding warranty issues. We started looking into replacing our 25 years old propane system to heat pump, as well as replacing our old AC. After receiving three quotes, we decided to go with Honey's ***************************** ****** ********** educated us on various systems, showed us compatible pricing and extra financial incentives to decide. We selected to work with ****** and that was a great decision for us. His team ******, ****** ****** and ***** worked long hours for two days to make sure our system is installed and tested perfectly. 1 starI have received poor service for solar that consistently does not work and does not perform as expected or promised. I continually receive the run around and get put off at this point I get the impression this is to run out the clock until warranty expiration. I am pursuing litigation.
